Pineider presents the first pen made in Forged Carbon, a material used in top-of-the-line automobiles, watches and golf clubs.Working with Carbon Dream—a leader in the manufacture of details derived from composite materials—Pineider has perfected the technology required to adapt Forged Carbon for writing implements.

While traditional carbon fiber is a fabric of thin fibers held together by resin, forged carbon forms casually arranged discontinuous fibers mixed with resin in a heated press at high pressure. The resulting compound is reliably strong in every direction, and, as an aesthetic bonus, every product is unique.

The Mystery Filler features a unique mechanism with 7 high-precision moving parts, modeled after watch mechanisms. With a press of a button, the mechanisms are activated, allowing you to fill your pen by twisting the piston. When it's full, simply press the button again to render the mechanisms immobile.

The Mystery Filler utilizes Pineider's twist-lock magnetic cap with a marine steel goose quill clip.

Limited to 888 pieces worldwide, the Mystery Filler sports Pineider's 14K gold flexible quill nib and arrives in the standard Pineider green "writing desk" box.
