| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ 12 slots version (HST type) is available as a special order. the surcharge of 12 slots is JPY6,000 (w / o tax). _x000D_ our processing of the rotor, the above package we have shipped in. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. Genuine Lexus Filter / Quick Delivery
Initially I had installed non-genuine Lexus filter, which the seller claims it fits Lexus RX. That filter fits (kinda). After installing the air-filter and closing the lid, I could see the edge of the filter because the lid did not close tightly. I am not a mechanic, but I was concerned. Hence, I ordered the genuine Lexus filter from Lexus dealer through Amazon. I paid twice more than non-genuine filter (including extra shipping charge of $10.00).
Genuine filter arrived in the FEDEX box (looks and feels pretty sturdy enough to protect the filter) only 2 days after I placed the order. I have just replaced the filter. The lid closes perfectly. Although I spent total $40, for the peace of my mind, it's the money well spent.

Great Filter - shipping needs to be improved
The air filter was great and would recommend the OEM filter. My only
Complaint is that they didn’t ship it in a box but only slapped on a shipping label on to the original air filter box.
It took about a week to get to me (Arizona) and the box looked really beat up and luckily the filter was still ok by the time it got to me. Recommend putting it in a box to protect it from damage.
