Under that color flip sits a polymeric PVC film with an air-release adhesive, so it goes down smooth and wraps tight around mirrors, handles, and curves. It is a full color change you can do yourself, and it shields the factory paint underneath from daily wear, road grime, and light scuffs. When you want a new look later, it comes off without taking your paint with it.
