Totally Wired charts the coming of age of music publications covering the contemporary bands, trends, and scene. This book offers a history of the journalists who described the wild landscape of the rise of rock and its evolution from the 1950s to the 2000s, through R&B, pop, the Summer of Love, punk, and beyond. Author Paul Gorman chronicles the emergence of trailblazing music magazines in New York, Los Angeles, and London and their transformation into essential reading for anyone who cared about popular culture.

Gorman captures the extraordinary rise of the inkies on the back of rock and roll's explosion into the postwar American and British youth culture. He recounts the development of individual magazines from their Tin Pan Alley beginnings to Creem, Blender, and Crawdaddy! followed by the foundation of Rolling Stone, NME, Melody Maker, and Sounds--as well as the emergence of dedicated monthlies such as Q, The Face, and Mojo. Evoking the golden age of the music press, the book is illustrated with iconic magazine artwork and archival photography throughout.

Writers such as Charles Shaar Murray, Greil Marcus, Nick Kent, and Tony Parsons not only documented the wild excesses of Led Zeppelin, the Who, and the Clash but also played an integral part in the development of the success of the bands themselves. Painting a complete picture of the scene, Gorman also tackles the entrenched sexism and racism faced by women and people from marginalized backgrounds as they tried to make it in the music industry, whether as musicians or journalists. An incisive and entertaining ride, this volume is perfect for anyone interested in popular culture, magazines, and underground cultural history.

Amazing!
Size: King (Pack of 1)
Such a great pillow I’m buying another one! You can add or subtract stuffing to your liking. It’s really nice quality, quilted and soft. Best pillow ever. Super comfy and great sleep. Pretty firm with all the stuffing. Perfect the way it came with stuffing on the side. My husband loves it and now I want one.

Totally worth the money

Right off the bat, the packaging is absolutely adorable and felt like I was buying a premium product. I love that this pillow is adjustable and as a side sleeper, I needed a pillow that is both firm and supportive of my neck. This hits all the boxes. We will be buying more of these for our bed!

Queen size set of 2 pillows, I'm giving it 5stars first bc it has a good length and width!! If you've ever bought memory foam pillows before you know some are small!! Anyways after having it for 5nights, we loved that me and my huddy could adjust the Thickness amount we had in it to our needs, me needing a thick pillow and my husband needing a flatter one. So this was perfect for that. So far its nice to sleep on, stays cool, doesnt get hot. I would say its on the frimer side but softer the more foam you take out! Really its just good for the amount you spend!! Will it last 10years probably not but what does now a days. This is the only time my huddy n I bought the same pillow and both love it so I'm just still in shock it worked out so well!!

Adjustable pillows
Color: Cooling Blue Cover, Size: Queen (Pack of 2)
I love these because they don't go flat. You can pull out whatever you need to make them comfy for you. They come in two different layers. So you have that protective cover over the main case that holds the memory foam. They're amazing to sleep on. I have had these last for years without going flat. If you hate flat pillows this is the way to go. They are very easy to wash. You just have to separate layers. They are very thick, you can adjust the thickness. Everyone in my house has at least one. They are worth the money. I have never had to replace them, because they went flat.
