Wooden Camera Panasonic GH5 Unified Accessory Kit (Advanced)

This bundle is the advanced version of the Wooden Camera Panasonic GH5 Unified Accessory Kit . It includes the small version of the Wooden Camera Unified DSLR Cage, the Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate, Ultra Arm Monitor Mount, an 8" long ARRI compatible dovetail plate with safety catch, and two 12" long 15mm support rods. The cage includes a wood top handle, and provides protection to your camera in addition to providing a variety of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting points for accessories.

The included baseplate is height-adjustable, and it enables you to achieve the correct rod-center to lens-center height for using standard rod-mounted cinema accessories. It incorporates 15mm LWS rod clamps, which simplifies mounting your cinema standard rod-mounted accessories. The Ultra Arm Mount features a 1/4"-20 threaded mounting screw on the end of each of its articulating arms, as well as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes at its center. The included ARRI-compatible dovetail plate is relieved to reduce weight, and features a safety catch.

• Unified DSLR Cage (Small)

  Build up your DSLR or mirrorless camera for professional video and cinema production with Wooden Camera 's Unified DSLR Cage . The cage itself surrounds your camera on three sides, adding a measure of protection to mirrorless cameras like Sony's a7 series and Panasonic's GH series, as well as smaller DSLR cameras like Canon's Rebel line and Nikon's D3000, D5000, and D7000 lines. 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes line the top and sides of the cage for securing accessories such as articulating arms. The top of the cage leaves the space above the camera's accessory shoe unobstructed for mounting audio accessories, such as XLR adapters. An HDMI cable clamp is integrated with the cage's vertical post to protect the camera's HDMI port from cable snags, as well as all necessary mounting screws and an articulating wooden top handle.

  Reversible Top Handle

  Included with the cage, the reversible top handle has a wooden handgrip which provides additional ways to comfortably handhold your camera. A cold shoe at the top can be used to mount a microphone, monitor, or other camera-top accessory. The handle folds down when packing your bag and can be alternately secured onto the left vertical rod for a secondary grip.

  Manfrotto Quick Release Compatibility

  The base of the cage is a Manfrotto quick release dovetail which can directly secure your camera to Manfrotto standard quick release plates and tripod heads. Quick release functionality works the same as existing Manfrotto plates. Simply turn the thumbscrew and depress the release pin to slide the plate backward out of the base.

  Built-In Lens Adapter Support

  A built-in lens adapter support system is integrated into the base. This provides extra security when attaching lens adapters with 1/4"-20 threads on the bottom, like the separately available Wooden Camera PL adapters and most Metabones adapters.

  15mm LWS Rod Support

  With the seamless addition of Wooden Camera's Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate, you can add 15mm LWS rods for accessorizing your DSLR or mirrorless camera. Additionally, the Baseplate adds ARRI dovetail compatibility while maintaining all quick release functionality of the DSLR cage itself.

• Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate

  Expand the capabilities of your Wooden Camera Unified DSLR Cage with the Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate . The baseplate itself holds 15mm rods at the correct placement to comply with the lightweight support (LWS) standard. Four height-adjustable posts secure to the base of the small or medium variations of the Unified DSLR Cage to ensure the correct optical axis height (the large variation of the cage has its own built-in rod clamp). The bottom of the baseplate has a dovetail clamp quick release enabling convenient tripod mounting. The dovetail clamp complies with the ARRI dovetail standard and can be easily secured to all dovetail plates of that standard, as well as Wooden Camera's own dovetails and shoulder rigs. Having multiple quick release options in a single system enables you to remove the entire rig from the tripod to go handheld, or just the camera from the rig for a minimalist setup.

  This is a single, 12" long 15mm Support Rod from Wooden Camera for mounting accessories. It is chamfered at each end to ease sliding accessories on and off, and has a hollow interior providing for maximum strength.

  The 8" Safety Dovetail Plate from Wooden Camera is an ARRI standard dovetail with a stopper screw on one end and a safety latch on the other to prevent accidental camera detachment. It features threaded 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for accessory mounting and tripod attachment. The dovetail can be attached to a shoulder pad for custom handheld configurations.
