Yellow Spot 12 Year Irish Whiskey is a legendary revival from Mitchell & Son — one of Dublin's oldest wine merchants. The name derives from Mitchell's historic practice of marking maturing whiskey casks with colored paint daubs to indicate age potential: Blue Spot (8 year), Green Spot (10 year), Yellow Spot (12 year), and Red Spot (15 year). In time, all but Green Spot disappeared — Yellow Spot last seen on shelves in the early 1960s before its triumphant return. A single pot still Irish whiskey matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and Malaga casks for a rich, complex, and distinctly Irish character. Bottled at 46% ABV.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Rich orchard fruit, toasted oak, warm spice, and a distinctive pot still spiciness with sherry sweetness
  • Palate: Full and complex with orchard fruit, toasted oak, sherry, Malaga wine sweetness, and the signature spice of Irish single pot still — exceptionally well-balanced
  • Finish: Long and warming with lingering fruit, spice, and oak

Pretty funny
Format: Hardcover
The book gives us a more focused outlook on Chieg Wiggum. Full of its funny moments, I`d recomend this to huge Simpsons fans as it seems the shows writers managed to give us another hit.

Not the best, but not the worst either
Format: Hardcover
By any means not the funniest book in the series, only the one on Krusty the Clown was more un-funny; but still a worthy addition to your collection and, just like all the others from the series providing a retrospective of anecdotes you might have forgotten.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.
