Engineered to maximize mounting options while protecting critical ports and cable connections, the XLCS Designs Camera Cage transforms Marshall CV500-Series cameras into highly adaptable production tools without sacrificing the compact footprint that makes these cameras so versatile.
Precision-machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in durable black anodizing, the cage provides a rigid mounting platform while maintaining full access to all camera controls, ports, and connectors. Its form-fitting design closely follows the camera body, delivering maximum functionality in the smallest possible package. Compatible with Marshall CV503, CV504, CV506, and CV508 cameras, the cage is equally suited for permanent installations, mobile production rigs, and broadcast environments.
Built for real-world production use, the cage supports SDI and Hirose cable locks to help secure and protect critical connections. For CV508 users, an optional HDMI cable lock is also available. Integrated cable support helps reduce connector strain while improving reliability in demanding applications where equipment may be subject to vibration, movement, or frequent handling.
With an industry-leading 42 integrated 1/4"-20 mounting points, four 3/8"-16 mounting points with ARRI locating holes, and two M4 mounting locations, the cage provides extensive options for attaching articulating arms, wireless transmitters, antennas, microphones, mounting plates, and other accessories. An aligned 1/4"-20 mounting pattern also simplifies attachment to tripods, anti-swivel plates, and custom mounting solutions.
