Perfect for Ford trucks from the late ’80s through the mid-’90s.

The Sterling 10.25 rear axle is known for its strength and durability, making it one of the most popular conversions for older trucks. This kit includes everything you need to convert your rear axle from drums to discs, giving your truck a modern braking upgrade without the hassle.

Important Information

  • Requires 16" single steel wheels (min. 4" backspacing) or larger aluminum wheels

  • Rotor slips over hub for easy installation

  • Re-bleed brakes after installation for proper operation

  • Proportioning valve recommended for optimal front/rear braking balance (~70% front)

  • On some trucks, a 1/8" bracket spacer may be needed; this varies between 3/4 and 1-ton axles

  • For E-brake compatible rotors, factory emergency brake cable may require modification. If you prefer not to modify, use Lokar EC-80-FU universal cable
