The ruthless crews on board the fearsome ships Ubisoft and Laced have joined forces to bring the adrenaline-pumping original soundtrack of Skull and Bones to good ol’ vinyl records. 

26 tracks from the piratical co-op game have been specially mastered and will be pressed to heavyweight LPs. These come in a deluxe double gatefold sleeve, with artwork by the Skull and Bones team. 

Composer Tom Holkenborg — aka Junkie XL — has built an enviable credits list, predominantly across video games, film and TV. Blockbuster movies he’s scored include Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Tomb Raider (2018) and Sonic the Hedgehog; earlier contributions and collaborations saw his work feature in The Animatrix, Inception and The Dark Knight Rises.

The goal of Holkenborg and the Skull and Bones creative team at Ubisoft was to avoid pirate clichés and comparisons to famous pirate movies and games. The result is a swashbuckling score that’s a powerful blend of baroque string arrangements, roaring orchestra and gritty electronica.
