Jack's 45th serves to open this chapter of their life and times together as well as pay tribute to all of those in The Greatest Generation. Jack's 45t" presents a unique blend of family, Oklahoma, and World War II history that follows the footsteps of Jack Neville from Adair, Oklahoma through the beginnings and battles of Oklahoma's famous 45th Infantry Division Thunderbirds. Jack's 45t" also tells of the life and times of Leota and others who worked and waited in Oklahoma City for the end of the war. Following Jack and the Division to Watertown, New York and on to Virginia where Jack boarded the USS Leonard Wood for North Africa, Leota and the other wives of Oklahoma City returned to the wait of war times. Chronicled in considerable detail are the beginnings of Tinker Air Force Base and the community's considerable support of the war effort. The anxiety and worry of not knowing are told through the eyes of Leota, as she spent her days working at the McDonald Aircraft Plant in Midwest City where over 3,000 C-47s were produced for the armed services. Dogs love them!

May dogs loved these. The squeaks last long enough but get lots of wear and tear. Worth money for the fun. My dog is 12 and still enjoys perfect size, weight, and flexibility.

GREAT Value even for a big boy.

My new 80lb husky/lab rescue LOVED his birthday present. They crinkle has he plays air-fetch w/himself! He does instantly puncture the squeekies at either end, but he's a large dog who chews. And these are SAFE for that. I figure 5 will last 2 months, but for the price? Who cares! He's worth it! Next time I'll go brighter colors because he tosses far &wide.

Squeaker short-lived, enjoyment long-lasting

My 10-pound dorkie rips out the squeakers in about 30 minutes. I wish they were sturdier or the parts of the toy housing the squeaker were reinforced. However, he is so excited to get a new one and will continue to play with it even when the squeaker is out. He loves to play tug. They do get pretty gross from the chewing and definitely benefit from a trip through the washer.
While this is not a very sturdy toy it provides so much entertainment I had to give it four stars.
