Although this mirror is by no means a replacement for an “over the shoulder” check, it can still improve an operator's understanding of their surroundings.
The mirror is easily adjusted after a change of driver. A simple ball and socket joint on the rear of the mirror allows near infinite adjustment. This ensures that any operator has a good wide-angle view of behind the truck. It also reduces blind spots.
The mirror itself is made from shockproof P.A.S polymer (often referred to as acrylic), with a durable black frame. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The chromed ABS surface reflects a clear image with no distortion. With its scratch-proofed and weather-proofed finish, as well as an anti-static treatment, Vialux are so confident in this product's durability that they offer a 5 year guarantee against manufacturing defaults.
