Sold for Parts Only / Not Working.
This is a DAMAGED device and may lose some or all of the functionality it had at the time of testing.
Disc loading mechanism is damaged. Power with a gumstick battery, but even if you can successfully insert a disc, the device reports, 'NO DISC'. Part of the internal mechanism can stick out slightly and will get trapped when closing the lid if not gently pushed in by hand.

Internal Battery Compartment : Damage from past battery corrosion (although power via gumstick battery was possible)

Product Information:
The Sony MZ-E520 is the final iteration of the 5xx series of MiniDisc players (500,501,505,510,and 520). It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality. 
Released in 2004, it incorporates MDLP, anti-shock 'G Protection',a digital amplifier, a six band equalizer, and ATRAC type S technology. 
It weighs 70 grams without a battery or disc installed. 
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
