THE DEFINITIVE CARD-TO-BOX GIMMICK

"Adam Wilber has made a clever, low profile switch box that injects a quality of participatory playfulness into a classic effect"
- David Regal

The signed card to impossible location plot is a true classic of magic for good reason. If you've ever performed this gem you'll understand why. With this version, you introduce a miniature fire alarm as a "back up in case you mess up the trick"

They say you should be able to describe a good magic trick in just a few sentences...(we aren't sure who "they" are either but you get the point:)

A little fire alarm stays in full view the entire time. At the end of the routine, the spectator's sign card vanishes from the deck. You ask them to pull the fire alarm revealing a folded card inside the box, when they unfold the card, it's their signed card.

In Case of Emergency is much more than a simple card switching device, it allows you to switch out billets, bills, cards, or any other paper product small enough to fit inside the box.

When you purchase this project you will receive the meticulously designed gimmick along with over an hour and a half of teaching from the inventor Adam Wilber. Four routines are taught in great detail starting with...

The Beginner Routine:

This routine is for those who don't like sleight of hand. Even if you've never handled a deck of cards in your life, you'll be able to perform this routine in no time. The basic premise goes like this, A card is selected, placed face up in the deck, and then instantly vanishes. When the spectator opens the fire alarm the card is now folded inside for them to open.

The Intermediate Routine:

This routine is for those who are scared of the Mercury Card Fold (although Adam teaches it in depth in this project so you won't have to fear it any longer). The basic premise goes like this, A card is selected and a corner is torn off of it. The spectator holds onto the corner as a receipt, the torn-corner-card is placed into the deck face up only to vanish in the blink of an eye and reappear inside the fire alarm, and of course, the corner matches perfectly. This routine doesn't use a signed card but plays just as strong as if it did.

The Full Routine:

This is for those who want to use the gimmick to its fullest potential by having any signed card vanish and reappear inside the box. Adam teaches an ambitious card routine that ends in the box but you can use any signed card routine you'd like with this gimmick.

But it doesn't stop there...

Adam goes through his signed bill routine where you borrow a bill, have it signed, and then test it to see if it's counterfeit...The bill vanishes in a burst of flames (you will need to get some flash bills for this routine) only to reappear inside the fire alarm box.

A few advantages of this gimmick over others on the market.
  • In Case of Emergency is very thin so it fits in your pocket without bulging out and looking suspect or awkward
  • You can customize it to any deck you'd like in just seconds without having to tape or glue anything in place
  • The card in the box is not attached to anything so they can see it move around as it should before the switch happens
  • There is a fun and playful presentational hook utilizing the fact that everybody has wanted to pull a fire alarm at some point in their life.
  • You are not limited to playing cards
  • Detailed instructions make certain you are not left with a prop you don't know how to use to the best of your abilities.
  • Plays as strong on stage as it does in strolling or close-up settings.
  • Comes with a metal carrying case for safe transporting when not in use.
"I've been doing signed card-to-box for decades and this prop is the gimmick I've always wanted for myself. After two years of designing and testing, I'm beyond excited to finally share with you In Case of Emergency!"
- Adam Wilber

Madison Deserved Better
Format: Kindle
Madison was a beta...except she wasn't any longer. She was a late presenting Omega. And she was struggling. She was tall and thin, not tiny and curvy. She was opinionated. She was everything an Omega was not. After suffering through her first heat, her friends took her to Ardor, a club where Omegas came to safely find Alphas. She's not expecting much but then she connects with a sexy beta. And when she meets his Alphas, they set her body on fire. Maybe, she's found her no-strings-attached heat pack. Maybe, she's found something more. I could not connect with the characters in this book, so their story never resonated with me. And there was no love story; there was sex. Grey made it clear from the beginning that he had a true love and it was his beta boy, Rian. He went so far as to reassure Rian “Say the word, I’ll never touch her again. Lucas can put the babies in her. I only need you, beta boy”. So, Madison was there for babies, no emotions needed. Nice. No, thank you. I want the Omega to be the center of their world, not an incubator. Lucas and Rian weren't any better. After her heat, they let her leave. Not one of them made her feel valued. No one gave her a reason to stay or even offered a cuddle. And the sex didn't even come across as mind-blowing. Madison deserved better.

Pretty Darn Good
Format: Kindle
So I’ve been on a omega kick and this definitely hit the spot. Madison was frustrating at times with how she acted towards Lucas, Gray, and Rian. It was like she said towards the end, she didn’t believe she deserved nice things. It would have been nice to hear from her best friends again. They kind of were there in the beginning and the gone except for mention of text messages received from them. I feel like her friends would have been great help in encouraging Madison to go with the pack and never give Brent another chance because he was toxic. I loved Rian. His personality was awesome. His humor. His ability to make Madison comfortable whenever she was feeling overwhelmed. And the fact he fell for her and she fell for him first. They are cute together. I do feel like Lucas was the odd man out though. Like Lucas didn’t develop as much of a relationship with Madison. I would have really liked to see more development in the relationship between them. It was also the same with him and Rian. There is really no relationship displayed. Most of the relationship being displayed is between Rian and Gray. Nevertheless, I loved reading about the dynamic that came to fruition during the entirety of this story. Madison finally got her happiness. And Brent finally got punched in the face. Everyone got exactly what they deserve.

Pack's Promise was okay but not great
Format: Kindle
Pack's Promise was okay but not great. I won't recommend it to anyone that I know. PRO: * Very likable characters * Lots of steamy scenes that are written very well * The spelling and grammar are good * The punctuation is good with the exception of using hyphens instead of commas. Lots of hyphens. Lots and lots of hyphens. CON: * Almost no interactions with any characters outside of Madison and the pack * Nearly no plot. They meet, get together for a heat, agree to make it permanent, done * Quite a few typos such as extraneous words, missing words and words out of order THINGS TO KNOW: * More steamy scenes than storytelling * A lot of MM & MMM, some MFMM during heat
