The Bobrick B-6806.99x18 Concealed Mounting with Snap Flange Grab Bar features a peened gripping surface that makes it easier to grip for added safety in your commercial washroom or shower area. The shortest of the grab bars in its style category, the model is 18 inches in length and crafted from type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel tubing that is 1-1/2 inches in diameter. If installed to allow for 1-1/2 inches of clearance between the bar and the wall, the unit can support up to 900 pounds of weight, and with other installation configurations, supports 250 pounds, in keeping with ADA and other barrier-free accessibility guidelines. To make the unit as strong as possible, the bar passes through the flange and is heliarc welded in place. A snap-on, 22-gauge cover is used on each mounting flange to conceal the hardware in the stainless steel mounting plates, which are 1/8 of an inch thick.

Wow that light color ring is annoying
There is no way to turn this color light off. I don't even know why it has to have a light at all. I suppose it is to tell you it has power. But the light could have been something that momentarily turns on and then off as you place the phone on. I'm a DIY'er and I'm going to find a way to take this apart and disable the light. I'll report back if I'm successful. The good news is that this mount is identical to another one I have except for the magnet charging section. I'm talking it is identical down to the knobs and metal arm so it's generic in that sense. They only changed out the magnetic section. This type of mount holds well to the screen. The charging speed seemed adequate. Not terribly fast but not slow. Wirelessly charging is always slower than plugged in. The supplied USB cable is braided and feels like quality. See attached picture. This mount is not something you'll necessarily want to use every time you drive. Therefore the color ring is annoying.

The combination of active cooling and a sturdy metal build makes it a first class addition to my car.
