In addition, the rope section comes complete with an abrasion-resistant thimble at the karabiner connection and a 60cm abrasion-resistant sleeve for use over rough surfaces.

The lanyard is ideal for those working up telegraph poles, where manually adjusting a lanyard with a buckle can be time-consuming and awkward. With this grab kit, you can pull out any slack and rest your weight onto the lanyard. The built-in non-openable grab will then lock onto the rope holding that position without further intervention. To reposition, simply take your weight off the rope and feed through some slack as required.

As you would expect from a quality JSP product, this lanyard conforms to EN358:1999 and has many features built in to ensure it gives reliable service for as long as possible, to this end, all rope ends are stitched and covered in a protective sleeve, this includes the figure-of-8 knot at the grab end of the Kernmantle rope.
