In mineralogical terms, Sugalite is classified as a cyclosilicate, in the same class as Tourmaline, Iolite and Beryl. Sugilite has a very complex chemical composition as a Potassium Sodium Lithium Iron Manganese Aluminum Silicate. Sugalite is found in Japan and the Khalahari Desert region of South Africa, Canada and India. Recent stone folklore rumors that Sugalite may reduce stress and relieve anger, as well as restore a sense of well being and enhance self esteem.
