Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA delivers a high quality source of DHA, of which is important for proper infant development of the brain, eyes and nervous system. DHA also offers support for the mother's mood and nervous system. Our modern day diet is often deficient in omega-3 essential fatty acids due to many factors, including the increased availabilty high amounts of processed and farmed food sources which have an excess of omega-6 fatty acids, and there may be reduced consumption of high omega-3 containing foods at this time such as fish.

Nordic Naturals Prenatal capsules are presented as smaller soft gels which are easier to swallow and are also unflavored, for the sensitive palates of pregnant women
