EUROPE, CIRCA 1830 A fine pair of European gilt bronze and marble mounted mantel compotes. The compotes are decorated with opposing neoclassical scenes of satyrs adorned with twin head dolphin form handles. Notice the raised architectural and tree branch elements throughout. The compotes are mounted on cylindrical green marble plinths. Dimensions : 10 1/2" tall
