SKUs: 400598 | 400599  |  Cut-to-Fit 3/4"–2-1/2"  |  12" Pouch  |  FSA Eligible  |  Latex Free

A lightweight, flexible one-piece drainable ileostomy pouch with ConvaTec's Durahesive Plus extended wear skin barrier permanently attached. Cut-to-fit opening accommodates stoma sizes from 3/4" to 2-1/2" — trim to the exact stoma shape before each application. Durahesive Plus adhesive is specifically formulated for liquid stoma output, swelling to create a turtlenecking seal that prevents output from migrating under the barrier as it absorbs moisture. One-sided comfort panel on the body-facing side for all-day discretion and quiet wear. 12" pouch length with tail clip closure. Available in transparent (SKU 400598, 5/box) and opaque (SKU 400599, 10/box). Latex free. FSA eligible.

Key Features

  • Durahesive Plus extended wear barrier — formulated for liquid and high-output stomas
  • Turtlenecking seal — barrier swells inward on contact with output, closing gaps progressively
  • Cut-to-fit opening — customizable stoma sizing from 3/4" (19mm) to 2-1/2" (64mm)
  • 12" pouch length — high capacity for ileostomy output volume
  • One-sided comfort panel — soft, odor-proof fabric on body side for quiet, discreet wear
  • Acrylic tape collar — additional skin-level adhesion around barrier edge
  • Tail clip closure — secure roll-and-clip closure; 2 tail closures included per box
  • Flat skin barrier — for normally protruding stomas
  • Transparent (400598) or opaque (400599) pouch film
  • One-piece system — barrier and pouch permanently attached
  • Lightweight and flexible for all-day activity
  • Latex free | FSA eligible

SKU Options

  • SKU 400598 — Transparent pouch | Cut-to-fit 3/4"–2-1/2" | 5 pouches per box
  • SKU 400599 — Opaque pouch | Cut-to-fit 3/4"–2-1/2" | 10 pouches per box

Both SKUs are the same pouch — same Durahesive Plus barrier, same 12" length, same cut-to-fit range. The only difference is film opacity and box count. Not sure which is right for you? Call 866-218-0902 and we'll help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between SKU 400598 and SKU 400599?

Same pouch, two options. SKU 400598 is a transparent film pouch sold in boxes of 5 — the transparent film allows visual stoma monitoring without removing the pouch, which is helpful for new ostomates or anyone tracking stoma health. SKU 400599 is an opaque film pouch sold in boxes of 10, preferred by patients who want more privacy and discretion. The Durahesive Plus barrier, cut-to-fit range, 12" length, and all other features are identical.

What is Durahesive Plus and how is it different from standard Durahesive?

Durahesive Plus is an enhanced version of ConvaTec's Durahesive hydrocolloid barrier formula. Both are designed for liquid and high-output stoma output and both feature the turtlenecking seal. Durahesive Plus offers improved extended wear performance — it is designed to maintain barrier integrity longer before erosion begins, reducing the frequency of pouch changes for high-output ileostomy patients. For patients who were previously experiencing short wear times with standard barriers, Durahesive Plus is often the recommended step up.

What is cut-to-fit and how do I cut the opening correctly?

Cut-to-fit means the barrier opening must be trimmed before each pouch change to match your stoma size. Measure the stoma at its widest point using the stoma measuring guide included in the box. Trace the shape onto the center release paper on the back of the barrier. Cut along the tracing using curved, short-blade scissors — this barrier accommodates openings from 3/4" (19mm) to 2-1/2" (64mm). The opening should fit snugly around the stoma without pressing into the stoma tissue. If the opening is too large, peristomal skin will be exposed to output. If it is too small, it can cause trauma to the stoma.

Is this pouch designed for ileostomy, colostomy, or both?

The Durahesive Plus barrier is primarily recommended for ileostomy patients whose output is liquid to semi-liquid. It can also be used for colostomy patients with liquid output. For colostomy patients with semi-formed to formed output, the ActiveLife with Stomahesive barrier is generally more appropriate — the Stomahesive formula is optimized for formed stool while Durahesive Plus is optimized for liquid output. Call us at 866-218-0902 if you are unsure which barrier formula is right for your stoma type.

What does the comfort panel do?

The one-sided comfort panel is a soft, fabric-like material applied to the body-facing side of the pouch film. It reduces the plastic film noise that some patients find bothersome during movement, and it provides a softer surface against the skin and clothing for all-day wear. It also helps the pouch stay flat and discreet under clothing. The outer side of the pouch remains clear or opaque film.

Is this a flat or convex barrier?

This is a flat barrier — appropriate for stomas that protrude normally above the skin surface. If your stoma is recessed, flush, or retracted, you may need a convex barrier. For a convex Durahesive version, see the ConvaTec SUR-FIT Natura Durahesive Convex Skin Barrier (SKU 413177–413188) or the ConvaTec ActiveLife Convex Urostomy Pouch (SKU 175790–175798). Always confirm with your stoma care nurse before switching between flat and convex.

Great speakers, rich full sound
Size: Pair
These are really great speakers. I got them to go with my husband's new record player for Christmas. These really sound fantastic. A rich range, with a nice bass that's not too much. They were easy to connect to the player. I like a rich sound better then bright (I think if it's too bright it doesn't have enough bass), and these definitely fit the bill. I got these on a black Friday deal which was even better. They are a good value for the quality.

The new amp/speaker configuration made a very noticeably positive difference.
Size: Pair, Size: Pair
I bought a Denton amp / Klipsch 7 speaker bundle for Christmas last year. It sounded impressive. For this year, I recently replace the Denon AVR-S970H, a 5.2.2 POS-Amp that quit after less than a year. Then I also added a 70” TV and a set of R-51M’s on the sides. I could never hear this amp driving the Dolby Atmos speakers on top of the R-625FA towers, so I decided that back speakers would be more beneficial to this 7-channel system. I’d been using the R-41M’s that came in the bundle as side surround speakers, but I was thinking that they would be more suited for use in back. So I replaced them with a new set of R-51M’s that I thought would be better surround sides because of their fuller stronger sound. As of now, at the front of this theater system is an Onkyo TX-RZ 820 AVR amp, a 70 inch LED 4K smart TV, a set of Klipsch R-625FA towers, an R-52C Center Channel Speaker, and two R-12SW Subwoofers. For the surround sides is the newly purchased set of R-51M’s on stands, and mounted on the back-wall is the set of R-41M’s, using BS-218pro Wall Mounts. For good reason, this is a very powerful amp driving a complete set of purely Klipsch speakers. I built this THX 7.2.0 surround sound system to go in my wife’s 11’ X 12’ privacy room, specifically because she is hard of hearing. She said, that with the new additions, the sound is much cleaner, stronger, the 3D surround effect is more noticeable, and the vocals are easier for her to understand. I get to use it sometimes when she’s not at home. Thunder in movies sounds as crisp sharp and loud as real thunder. All around, the system is very realistic sounding. And it can play music, shaking the house at live levels. At present, my wife and I are extremely happy with this system. It sounds as good as it looks. The Klipsch speakers & Onkyo amp configuration makes a very noticeably positive difference.

Great value speakers for a beginner audiophile
Size: 4” Woofer
Fantastic sound quality to my ears, got these used “mint” for 179 and that was a steal, they were never even opened. They feel solid and well made, they’re heavy for the size which makes them feel of a higher quality. Very happy with my purchase
