Adding a thermal scope to a hunting rifle usually means bolting on a heavy, ring-mounted unit that changes the balance of the gun and takes minutes to swap between platforms. The Cronus ATS Pro 25P-250 is the lightest thermal scope in the Cronus ATS Pro lineup — 17.8 ounces with a Picatinny mount that slides directly onto any rail without scope rings, so you can move it between rifles in seconds without re-zeroing. Same ballistic calculator, smart video recording, and One-Shot Zero as the full-size models, in a package that won't make your rifle feel front-heavy.

Key Features
  • 256 x 192 Thermal Sensor with ≤30mK NETD – The 12μm pixel pitch sensor delivers clean thermal imaging with ≤30mK sensitivity — enough to pick out heat signatures in fog, rain, and low-contrast conditions where standard optics fail. The 256 x 192 resolution provides clear target identification at typical predator and varmint engagement distances.
  • Compact Picatinny Mount Design – At 8.8" long and 17.8 oz, the 25P-250 is the smallest and lightest scope in the entire Cronus ATS Pro family. The integrated Picatinny mount eliminates scope rings entirely — slide it on, lock it down, and you're hunting. Moving it between rifles takes seconds.
  • 25mm F1.0 Lens with 7.0° x 5.3° FOV – The fast F1.0 germanium lens maximizes infrared energy reaching the sensor. The 7.0° x 5.3° field of view provides scanning coverage well suited to typical nighttime engagement distances.
  • 3.6x–14.4x Zoom Range – Start at 3.6x base magnification for scanning, then push to 14.4x for target identification at distance.
  • 1024 x 768 OLED Display at 50Hz – The 0.39" OLED delivers a crisp, high-contrast sight picture. The 50Hz refresh rate keeps moving targets smooth and trackable.
  • Ballistic Calculator with Auto Holdover – Input your caliber, bullet weight, and muzzle velocity, and the integrated ballistic engine calculates holdovers in real time. The holdover point displays directly on the reticle — no mental math, no dialing turrets.

  • 10 Reticles + One-Shot Zero – 5 MOA and 5 MIL reticle patterns in 6 colors. One-Shot Zero for fast sight-in — fire a single round, mark the point of impact, and the scope calculates the correction automatically.
  • 7 Color Palettes – White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot, and Sepia.

  • Smart Video Recording + 32GB Storage – Recoil-activated recording captures before and after every shot automatically. 32GB built-in storage holds hours of footage without external cards.
  • 9+ Hour Battery + WiFi – Dual-power system (1 built-in + 2 external 18500 batteries), USB-C backup, and standby mode. Stream live to the Athlon Thermal app via WiFi.

  • IP67 Weatherproof, -4°F to 122°F – Fully sealed, fog-proof, shockproof. Handles high-caliber recoil and harsh conditions.

Who It's For
  • Hunters who want Pro-grade thermal capability at the lowest weight and cost in the lineup. The 25P-250 delivers a ballistic calculator, smart video recording, and One-Shot Zero at under 18 ounces — features that aren't available on most thermal scopes at any weight.
  • AR-platform and lightweight rifle builders who need a thermal scope that integrates directly onto a Picatinny rail without adapters or scope rings, adding minimal weight to the platform.
  • Night predator and varmint hunters working at typical engagement distances. The 1,400-yard detection range and ≤30mK sensitivity cover the distances where most coyote, hog, and varmint shots happen.
  • Hunters adding their first thermal scope who want a capable, full-featured optic without the investment of a 400x300 or 640x480 platform. The 25P-250 is the entry point to the ATS Pro ecosystem.

Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking
Color: Green/Black
I love this watch despite the fact that it is really a toy. I love the look of the watch, I love how lite the weight of the watch is on my wrist, and it really does keep good time if you manage the solar charge properly. Other than looking cool on your wrist, this watch has absolutely no functions other than time keeping. The black plastic bezel is molded into the case and does not turn, so don't plan on using that. The watch has no light, the dial numbers are non-luminous and the hands are very limited in terms of luminosity. No buttons. All you can do is adjust the time and date by pulling out what used to be a winding stem in the good old days. The small tag on the strap with Geographic coordinates shown on it indicate the location of the old Timex manufacturing facility (SW of Waterbury, CT). I have a nice ledge at my bedroom window and it gets good western sun for a good part of the day regardless of the time of year. On this ledge you will find a half dozen solar powered watches (mostly Casio) properly aligned to maximize the charge they may receive each day. Note that the description for this Timex watch specifically states that a lightbulb won't charge this watch. You need direct sunlight for several hours if you want to get more than a 3-week charge into this watch. So, I'll leave you with a couple of tips, my friends; 1.) If you are looking for a first watch to give your outdoorsy oriented Son or Daughter, then give them this one. Why? Because it is cool looking, fairly well built, and it actually works, 2.) After you receive your Timex watch, be sure to keep the display mount it is packaged with. It makes a great fixture to mount your watch on for charging and allows you to maximize the position of the solar cells on the dial so that you can optimize charging time. Have Fun! Jimmy

Excellent value, flawless performance for well over a year and no signs of quitting.
Color: Green/Black
Excellent value, had this for well over a year and it still keeps perfect time, still water resistant. No worries about having to change batteries. Owned a fancy expensive (battery) watch once and the dept. store repair intentionally sabotaged the watch in the hopes I would purchase another from them. Yeah, good luck with that, lost my business forever. This is the 21st century, cell phones are the new time pieces, but solar is totally reliable and Timex makes it happen. Holds a charge for many months, although I prop it in a bright window for a few days every few months or so just to make sure the cells are always fully charged, although it's probably unnecessary, just being over cautious. I haven't actually experienced this watch ever running out of power even after months of use. Damn impressive, as it should be.

Good value for solar watch
Color: Black/Orange
Nice watch! It is plastic like but it is solar. No indiglo button only a little luminous on the hands so you don't want to wear it in tje dark and expect to check the time. 45mm case is good size for my wrist and the band works good also, Not too long not too short. Overall a good watch with no problems

Do not buy
Color: Green/Black
Do not buy. When I received the watch it did not work and the battery was dead. I bought a new battery and it killed that one as well after about a month.
