- Lepidolite is a lilac-gray or rose-violet colored lithium-bearing mineral of the Mica group. It is associated with other lithium-bearing minerals like Spodumene. Other associated minerals include Quartz, Feldspar, Amblygonite, Tourmaline, Columbite Cassiterite, Topaz and Beryl. When Lepidolite was first discovered in the 1700's, it was given the name Lilalite, for its lavender color. Scientists eventually renamed the stone Lepidolite, from the Greek lepidos meaning "scale." The reference is to the scaly appearance of lithium flakes in the mineral. Lepidolite ranges in color from lilac-gray to rose; it is the presence of lithium that lends it the distinctive color. It has a vitreous (glassy) to pearly luster. Lepidolite is a major source of the element lithium, the world's lightest metal. Lithium has many important industrial applications: it is used in rechargeable batteries, alloys for aircraft parts, and in appliances. Lithium compounds are used in mobile phones and mood-stabilizing drugs. Deposits have been found in Brazil, Russia, California, Mexico and Canada. In contemporary stone lore, Lepidolite is rumored to release and reorganize of old patterns of behavior and psychology, gently inducing change, emotional healing, and reducing stress and depression. Lepidolite is thought to dissipate negativity.

Soft Bronzy Glow

I received a stinky oil in a subscription box, I love how soft it makes my dry diabetic skin feel. Oil leaves skin much softer than a moisturizer does, however, I was put off by the strong magnesium smell. I found this Vaseline Oil online and decided to try it instead. Firstly, the smell is so much more enjoyable and the shine it left behind is unmatched. I used it directly after a shower, applying it to my skin while I was still partially wet. Doing this, traps moisturize in the skin and leaves behind a beautiful bronzy glow. Unlike my moisturizer, I find I do not need to reapply daily, instead I only use every 2 to 3 days because it keepsy skin so very soft. I would recommend this to any diabetic with dry skin.

Works great, a tad "tacky" in feeling!

Mixed review. The product smells great, provides good moisturizing effects and glistens on the skin. Drawback, it remains sticky on the skin. It is an oil so some oily feeling is to be expected, but the tackyness is what I dislike. Especially when doing outdoor activities where everything that drifts in the wind will stick to your skin due to the oil. If you do not mind that feeling, you will love the product and the results.

Extremely effective product
Such a great product. Really works well on chapped, dry hands during winter or to maintain healthy skin in other conditions. There really isn't a scent, it smells kind of plastic-y but that's fine with me when the results are so good. Hard to find in my area, so happy Amazon carries this brand.

Just what I was looking for!!
So far,so good. It s the first time I have been trying this product. I really like it. I was looking for something to help me for dryness due to the cold weather and excess of hand washing because of my job. I work in a microbiology lab, so I am costantly washing my hands and they tent to get dry with the specific soap we have to use. I like to feel my hands humected but not sticky. I tried several brands but never got quite convinced to by a brand again because I as not satisfied at all. This hand cream is ligher compared to many others but really protects and leaves your hands soft. You use it once or twice a day and they are still soft.
