The piano dances: new recordings of ballet classics in sparkling keyboard arrangements. Born in Russia, living and working in Germany, Ekaterina Litvintseva has made a string of critically acclaimed recordings for Piano Classics, featuring the music of Chopin, Rachmaninoff and more. On her latest album, she turns to a trio of ballet scores which have always captivated audiences for the particular genius of their marriage between story and music. She opens with Prokofiev's own arrangement of 10 pieces from Romeo and Juliet, followed by Guido Agosti's arrangement of the Suite from Stravinsky's Firebird, and Mikhail Pletnev's virtuoso transcription of dances from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. As in any popular recital, there are three encores: a waltz from Delibes' Coppelia (arranged by Erno Dohnanyi), Les Sauvages by Rameau, and finally another foot-tapping dance from the French Baroque, extracted from an opera by Lully. In these transcriptions, the pianist becomes more than just a substitute for the orchestra; she takes the role of a storyteller and a conduit for the expression of the ballet. The reduction of forces brings a more intense focus on the melodic lines, the harmonic progressions and the rhythmic subtleties of the music. Prokofiev chose to recompose and distil the essence of pivotal moments in Romeo and Juliet rather than making straightforward arrangements. In their own ways, Agosti and Pletnev also demonstrate that the essence of ballet can be captured and reimagined in the hands of a skilled pianist. While their versions of Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky have become crowd-pleasing pianistic tours de force in their own right, they also retain the elegance and the fundamental pulse of the original dances. 'The 30-something Ekaterina Litvintseva has been amassing a distinguished discography, and this... is a fine addition, exhibiting the combination of sensitivity and self-assurance that have marked her playing up until now... you owe it to yourself to make the acquaintance of Dora Pejacevic.' MUST READ - HONEST REVIEW
I want to share as much as I can about this product - only honest reviews from me. I bought this product because I had been experiencing dry and itchy scalp. This has been going on for several years. I tried many things. And I mean MANY. From increasing my water intake to several over the counter products. I simply couldn't understand what was going on to cause this embarrassing and uncomfortable experience. I'm a very clean person and as embarrassing as it is to say this, I want to be honest... my problem got to the point of developing a scalp odor. Nothing worked. Nothing. Finally, I came across this shampoo. I actually bought several different products for my scalp from Amazon the same day I bought this shampoo. I figured I can't give up! Needless to say, I can't speak for the other products because this one did the trick!! It really did!! No more itchy scalp. No more flakes and dryness. NO MORE EMBARRASSING ODOR!! You don't know how much a person can honestly appreciate this result until you yourself have lived with the humiliation of this problem. Application: I am very generous when applying this shampoo. In the shower, I place plenty in my palm, lather it in my hair for a good minute. I leave it in while I wash and scrub my body. I rinse then repeat. The second time around I only lather, gently scrubbing my scalp and immediately rinse. No waiting. Done. If you've ever felt "soft water", my personal experience has been that after rinsing the shampoo off, my hair feels so soft, as if I had run soft water through it. I will also add the only downfall is that I sometimes do feel a slight residue-like feeling on my hair after it dries. That's pretty much it. But hey, I can totally live with that as oppose to the ladder! It's probably a simple matter of figuring out the proper portion to use. Did I mention my hair is long, all the way down to my hips. Hence the generous portions. Over all, this shampoo deserves an honest 5 star rating from me. Try it! See for yourself. Hopefully your experience will be as great as mine, if not better!

This could be the answer to seborrheic dermatitis/excessively oil skin/scalp
I struggle with seborrheic dermatitis and excessively oil skin/scalp. This causes greasy hair, itchy, flaky and tender scalp. I've been looking for a simple and low maintenance scalp/hair care routine for the past 2 years. Switching between shampoos, oils, natural remedies, prescriptions and still not much result. I started to experience excessive hair loss too because I was constantly scratching and picking at the flakes. I came across Puriya 2 weeks ago and decided to give it a try. The directions says to use it everyday for 2 weeks and then gradually decrease. I wasn't very thrilled about shampooing my scalp everyday since I have fine, curly hair and excessive oil production and constant washing increase the oil production. But I decided to follow directions and I started to notice less flakes after day 3. My scalp is much less itchy and greasy. The flakes have decreased and are dry vs. greasy. The shampoo also has not dried out my hair. I try not to lather my hair and keep the shampoo on my scalp and massage for a few minutes. I'm going to continue to use it until the bottle is empty and see if the results remain the same or better. For now, I am really excited that this is working for a lifelong nuisance.

Great, antisceptic shampoo & wound cleaner!
This was a good product. I mean, I liked it as a shampoo! It did not help at all with the severe scalp psoriasis of my granddaughter. While we gave it about a 2-3 week trial, my granddaughters scalp became just a solid mass of psoriasis. Her scalp was covered so severly, not only did we go ahead and use Selsun Blue daily, we had to not brush her scalp when we brushed her hair. We tried this shampoo & conditioner because her Mom & I didn't like using Selsun Blue on a 6yo. We've been using Selsun Blue since she was three yo. We started her on Head & Shoulder's mild as a baby. But we hated using such strong shampoo on her routinely for so long. And the poor kid hated the blue color, the smell, the feel of it on her hand etc. She has beautiful, fine, long hair. We didn't want to fight her every time we had to wash her hair. So, we gave this product a try. I bought both shampoo & conditioner. But the short trial & resultant scull cap a quarter inch deep, of this horrible creeping crud on a six year olds head put an endto that. It was so awful for her that even my granddaughter no longer complains about using Selsun Blue. Anything to keep the psoriasis or dandruff under control. I don't know if her severe reaction was a combination of withdrawing the medication in the Selsun Blue plus the inability of the Puriya to combat the psoriasis which runs in her father's Welsh/Irish ancestry family history. I'm not sure why her reaction was so severe. But none of us are eager to repeat the episode. So we are just sticking to Selsun Blue 2× week. That keeps her scalp pretty clear & free from itch. As for the Puriya, my friend, without dandruff at all took it and used it & loved it. It sure made her hair shine & she's in her latter 50's. I recieved a second bottle because I forgot to cancel my subscription. This one I gave to a collection for a young man & his son. The wife had died and the man & his young son had been living on the street. A program got him & son housing but a bunch of us who knew the mother/wife collected new unused daily need items to help them set up housekeeping on their own. Both the man & his son called to tell me how much they loved the shampoo & ask where I got it. Again I noticed the man & his son had very shiny, healthy looking hair. And a little goes a long way. The man & his son loved the smell of the tea tree oil in the shampoo. So if you want something for a man's hair, that will make it more shiny, softer & manageable, ...this is a good bet. Because of it's antiseptic properties it can be quite helpful for people in jobs where they tend to get head wounds frequently, like people in the buiding industry & such. It helps fight off an infection in those head wounds more than other shampoos due to the antiseptic properties of the tea tree oil. Can use this shampoo to clean out mild wounds & abrasions anywhere on body. It doesn't seem to sting that we noticed. Great shampoo but not so helpful on dandruff that we were dealing with.
