Extraordinary concentration and timeless elegance define this legendary Sauternes from the historic estate of Château d’Yquem. The 2017 vintage was produced under challenging Bordeaux conditions, yet Château d’Yquem emerged untouched by the devastating frosts that affected much of the region, allowing the estate to craft a wine of remarkable purity and balance. Harvested through multiple selective passes across the vineyard, the fruit achieved exceptional botrytis development, resulting in a wine with both opulence and striking freshness. The blend is predominantly Sémillon with a smaller proportion of Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from the estate’s gravel-rich slopes in Sauternes.

In the glass, the wine displays extraordinary aromatic precision, revealing layers of candied citrus, apricot, white peach and exotic spice wrapped around the estate’s hallmark minerality.
