Finished with a peened gripping surface, the Bobrick B-6806.99x36 Concealed Mounting with Snap Flange Grab Bar is easier for a user to grab hold of tightly than a bar with a standard satin or polished finish. The grab bar is 1-1/2 inches in diameter and 36 inches in length, making it the second longest in its style category. Crafted from 18-gauge, type-304 stainless steel, the bar fully complies with ADA and other barrier-free accessibility guidelines. The grab bar can bear as much as 900 pounds of weight with 1-1/2 inches of clearance from the mounting surface or as much as 250 pounds with other clearances. The mounting hardware used with the stainless steel mounting plates to install the grab bar is kept hidden from sight by flange covers, which are crafted from 22-gauge, type-304 stainless steel. The mounting plates measure 1/8 of an inch in thickness and are securely welded to the grab bar.
