It features a premium 8.6" carbon fibre tonearm with a massive aluminium bearing construction. The low friction tonearm bearing guarantees precise, stable and accurate tracking. Carbon gives the tonearm a high degree of rigidity while keeping the weight really low.

The one-piece arm and headshell design prevents unwanted resonances and offers a solid physical bond to the cartridge. The new TPE damped counterweight reduces arm-cartridge resonances by as much as 50%. This superbly built tonearm delivers superb sound quality with a convincing sound stage.

A Closer Look At The Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2

Correct Anti-Skating, Adaptive Skating Force: As the skating force varies between the inner and outer grooves of the vinyl record, the anti-skating mechanism adjusts accordingly.

Carbon Fibre, Super Stiff and Lightweight: The new Debut EVO 2 features the a 8.6" one piece carbon tonearm design. The super stiff, but lightweight tonearm delivers an insane sound quality with a convincing sound stage.

Premium Bearing, Smooth Movement: The precise CNC milled aluminium bearing offers very low friction and best stability.

The New Pick it MM EVO: The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2 in all respects. It doesn't only complement the lightweight tonearm sound-wise, it also looks stunning on the turntable. Our phono specialists again teamed up with the cartridge experts at Ortofon from Denmark to work on this new cartridge. The cartridge is made from a unique combination of technologies. One of which is Ortofon's well known split pole pins. This enables it to have a flat frequency response, which is comparable to MC cartridges.

Backside Beauty: The design team at Pro-Ject love a clean look, not only on the topside. The Debut EVO 2 is the first turntable where they have included the RCA output box and the power socket into the plinth. The result speaks for itself.

Premium Connection: The gold plated RCA sockets on the Debut EVO 2 will always provide the best connection. The included Connect it Phono E RCA uses quality core materials like a copper conductor for signal transmission without losses. This cable is a semi-symmetrical type, which means that the shielding is only connected on one end. Therefore, the yellow marked side should always be connected to the receiving end.

Quality Motor - Sophisticated Suspension: The high quality AC motor is mounted into a proper suspension system which consistently reduces vibrations.

Clean Power - DC/AC Power Generator: The power generator creates a completely clean new sine wave for the motor. This guarantees very clean power which results in enhanced speed stability.

Belt Drive - Precision Belt: The belt decouples the motor from the big sub platter. This prevents motor vibrations traveling to the needle.

33⅓ / 45 RPM - Electronic Speed Change: The rocker switch on the bottom of the turntable allows you to change speeds with the push of only a single button.

A Throne For Your Records: The heavy 1.7 kg die-cast aluminium platter gets reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain a perfect platter. The heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and thus minimize wow and flutter. The Debut EVO 2 platter is anti-magnetic, which allows you to use MC cartridges and upgrade to True Balanced Connection technology. The separately available Record Puck E provides an extra level of damping and stability, so it is the perfect add-on for your Debut EVO 2.

The platter features a notch for the record label and together with the Record Puck E (available separately) the puck's weight will press your record tightly against the platter.

I really want to love it... but the art...
Format: Hardcover
Batman and Robin, Vol 3: Batman & Robin Must Die include Batman and Robin #13-16, Batman the Return #, and concludes the Grant Morrison trilogy in B&R. The story here is great and I really want to love the comic, but the art makes some of this comic so hard to read. The majority of the art is done by Frazer Irving and if you have not seen any of his art search Frazer Irving Batman and see if you can stand it. If you can, read this comic. The story line is great, the villains are fantastic, the art gets better. I don't always hate Frazer Irving's art, in fact, I quite liked it for Klarion the Witch Boy in Seven Soldiers of Victory (another great comic) but in B&R I cannot stand it. At least I know that it is only a short time in the overall arc and that the story is so good that it makes it worth it. If you like Grant Morrison's Batman or don't mind the art, for sure read this. One last thing, events in this comic intersect with Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne which should be read before reading B&R #15 to avoid spoilers. I generally read Vol 1 , Vol 2, Batman: TROBW, then Vol 3. This is only if you want the full Grant Morrison Batman arc detailed below. Pros: -B&R are still great -Story is fantastic -Grant Morrison Cons: -Grant Morrison -Frazer Irving's Art -Relatively Short *Morrison's Story Arc is as follows: Batman and Son (Included in Black Glove Deluxe Edition) Batman: The Black Glove Batman: RIP Batman: Batman and Time (or Final Crisis but still needs 701 and 702) Batman and Robin Volume 1-3 Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne (Technically happens during Batman and Robin Volumes 1 and 2) Batman Incorporated (and Leviathan Strikes) Batman Incorporated Vol 1: Demon Star (New 52) Batman Incorporated Vol 2: Gotham's Most Wanted (New 52) A readers guide to Grant Morrison's Batman is a great help if you are looking at the whole series.

The Conclusion to an Excellent Story
Format: Hardcover
This is the third and final book of Batman and Robin in Grant Morrison's Batman RIP to Return of Bruce Wayne storyline. In this book you get a lot of kudos heading towards Dick from both Alfred and Jim Gordan. You also get some very interesting inter-play between Dick and The Joker (from Dick stating he's had the Joker figured out since he was 12 and the Joker stating that Dick was too similar to himself to be fun). On the other hand, some of the things done by Dick seem odd. He was captured by Hurt. How did he expect to escape being shot in the head? He left Damian alone with the Joker. He said he understood the Joker but was then unsure if the Joker was helping him or not. Nothing major, just some things I didn't like. The story on a whole was excellent and a good conclusion. About the only thing I disliked a lot was the art work. The other 2 books were a lot better in this regard. Buy it for the story, not the art.

The final product of a years long storyline, Batman and Robin Vol 3 ends the mind melting adventure Grant Morrison started a few years back, concluding Batman and Robin's fight against the Black Glove and bringing Bruce Wayne back into the spotlight. If you haven't read any of Batman and Robin as well as Batman R.I.P and Final Crisis, then don't get this because you'll be confused as what the hell is going on. Of course you can still get it, but you'll be missing on vital details and will experience a different story than others who have read anything up to this point. Everything is clearly spelled out, a rare feat by Morrison who can't help but make everything sound unintelligible and mind boggling. It's a race against the clock to save Gotham City from the Black Glove and the Joker, who have entered a dangerous between each other that will destroy Gotham if Batman and Robin can't stop them. There isn't a dull moment in anywhere in this book, every moment is filled with glee, things are kept in a fast pace, leading up to the grand finale that brings a monumental change that is shocking. Probably the weirdest part of the comic is the art, it's a mix between cel shaded and paint, people's faces usually have goofy looks on them that can be distracting. Looking at the unusual art takes awhile to get used to, but other than that the comic is amazing. Definitely a must read for Batman fans.

Superman, Superboy, Supergirl, Krypto, a little of everything.
"Superman in the Fifties" is a collection of 17 stories from 1950 to 1959 reprinted in color. For me it was a nostalgic return to when I was a child and able to purchase 10 comics for a dollar off a turning rack (no sales tax either) at the local soda shop. The comics from the fifties served as an escapism for much of the youth at the time that was coming of age with the awareness that we could be threatened by nuclear attack at any time. Bomb shelter construction could be found in Popular Science magazines, and drills were performed in schools with students going into halls and crouching down and covering their heads or hiding under desks. A hero was needed, one with super powers who could make the world right. We could all dream. Superman, "Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound...fighting a never ending battle for truth, justice, and the American way." Sorry, just had to put that TV intro in from the 50's. The stories may seem dated, but that is part of the mystique of reading comics that are reprinted. The titles in this volume are: - Three Supermen From Krypton! - The Menace From The Stars! - The Girl Who Didn't Believe In Superman! - Superboy's Last Day In Smallville! - The Ugly Superman! - Superman's Big Brother! - The Super-Dog From Krypton! - Titano, The Super-Ape! - The Supergirl From Krypton! - Superman's Super-Magic Show! - The Super-Duel In Space - The Battle With Bizarro! - The Bride Of Bizarro! - The End Of The Planet! - Superman And Robin!! - The Stolen Superman Signal - The Girl In Superman's Past My favorite was "The Super Duel in Space" with Brainiac reducing some of Earth's cities and putting them in bottles. It was a good change up from the usual fiction, and non-fiction that I read. It provides plenty of background about Superman for young readers with terrific art that was hand drawn, unlike most modern comics that are created on computers. The stories are a very good sampling of "Superman" from the fifties. I look forward to reading "Superman in the Sixties." I give "Superman in the Fifties" 5 stars.

This is perfect - I just wish they would reprint all of the 1950's and 60's stories!
This is great - wish I had more Superman stories from the 1950's to read!! I was born in 1952 so this is something right up my alley. I am a big Superman fan and had most of the mid to late 1950'2 issues until my mom burned them when I went away to college. I understand why but still wish I had them - for many different reasons. The coloring is bright and spot-on. I even remember most of these stories - I know it's been more than 50 years ago but they were a big part of my early life. All of the stories are least good and couple are truly great. Some of the plots are little silly by todays standards but things have most definitely changed since they were written. IF you love Superman, grew-up in the 50's or just anything historical you will love this! I just wish they would reprint all the 50's and 60's stories. That is something I would most certainly buy!! My rating for this is a perfect 10 out of 10 - for me it's perfect - all I want is MORE of this!!
