Proper formed in London in March 2015 with the aim of producing timeless 3 minute pop songs with a nod to the past pop masters of the mid '60's and the late '70's in particular. Think of a Fred Perry polo shirt, a Harrington jacket, a pair of Levi 501's and a pair of Clarks desert boots. Contemporary then, still relevant today. Put them together and they suit, it's the same principle that makes Proper tick. Guitarist and vocalist Ivano Bonfanti came to London from Milan with just a suitcase and a Rickenbacker guitar in the early 1990's, within a year he joined The Direction, a hard gigging mod revival band who he'd been following as a fan. Len Fleckney has played drums with many bands over the years, most notably with legendary mod revival group Long Tall Shorty and previously Eleanor Rigby. Len joined Proper after a few years living in Canada where he drummed for The Crescent Heights. Jez Payne only took up the bass on joining Proper, he's actually a very accomplished guitarist but switched with ease and provides a solid foundation to the "Proper" sound. Joe Duggan, guitar, played in various bands while at University and shares a love of guitar based power pop and new wave bands. Proper are more than just the 4 musicians you see on stage, they are a team of people who work hard and believe in the same goal to bring you some great power pop for today. Their debut gig at the iconic 100 Club was arranged by manager David Edwards, supporting The Scene and they've since gone on to build up a loyal live following and are starting to take their sound further afield. Working alongside legendary sound engineer Pat Collier and more recently, Tony Morrison from Long Tall Shorty as their producer, has seen Proper's recordings well received on the radio from far and wide and has now led to Proper joining up with bespoke indie label Otto Raw Recordings who will be releasing their debut LP in the Spring of 2017. Keep It real, keep it Proper! (Dave Edwards January 2017).

They match the OEM ones!
They are just as good as the OEM caps and fit perfectly. I found if you put a small piece of rubber with adhesive on 3 of the tabs they hold better. I did it on all of them including the oem.

Good buy and good replacement for stock
I can’t keep these on my UTV, so it’s good to find a reasonably priced alternative.

Definitely keeps your hands warm !!
Color: Black
These fit nicely on a H.D. Road King. If you bike has heated grips you can drive in 30 deg F weather with only a thin pair of leather gloves.
Update: They kept our hands toasty with the heaters on Level 2 and just wearing a thin pair of leather gloves (for grip) while riding in temps down in the low 30's, high 20's. I would definitely recommend these... the photo in the ad is pretty indicative of how they fit on handlebars. They're really designed for ATV's that have no turn signal lamps on the handlebars. Without modification, they do cover the handlebar mounted turn signals on a Sportster, but not on a Roadking. The draw string that seals the mittens around the handlebar could have a more positive grip to stay closed... we wound up double tying it around bar and that works great. The thing we like most aside from how warm they are (the lining feels great)... is that the cuffs are fairly rigid and don't collapse when you take you hands out (like the photo) which makes it super easy to pull you hands out and put 'em back in again. That's really important at a stop light, but even more important when flying down the road at highway speeds... you just can't afford to be fooling around trying to thread your hands and a coat sleeve back into mittens that are limp and flop down closed when you take you hands out...
I hope this help... be safe !!
