Shimano's EW-WU111 D-Fly is a compact wireless data transmitter that adds a new dimension to your Di2 experience. The D-Fly plugs into Shimano's E-tube wiring system and seamlessly connects Di2 equipped bikes to compatible wireless cycle computers or smartphones, tablets and Windows PCs. D-Fly transmits data through both Bluetooth and ANT wireless protocols and allows riders to monitor Di2 gear position, battery life, as well as some other common rider data functions. Don't worry about more batteries to keep track of, the D-Fly shares the same Di2 battery that powers the Di2 shifting system.

E-Tube

E-tube is a system platform in order to achieve the Di2 (Digital Integrated Intelligence) concept. E-tube transmits interactive signals and power supply to each electronic component by plug & play connection. E-tube is a no rust, no stretch, no freeze system and it ensures advanced low maintenance. E-tube project offers, besides customized setting of the electronic components, an update to firmware via Windows PC, tablet or smartphone. You have access to a range of options for a quick check of the electronic components or the system status.

Shimano D-Fly

Shimano D-Fly builds on the capabilities of the E-Tube wiring and electronics found in the latest Shimano Di2 electronic shifting systems for road bicycles. This wireless component adds another dimension to the Di2 experience by wirelessly connecting riders to their Di2 data through a cycling computer.

Note: Shimano Di2 D-Fly Bluetooth Transmitter requires an additional E-tube cable for installation. The 300mm wire works great in most installs
