About the product
Olvita Cold-pressed, unrefined milk thistle oil is 100% milk thistle seed oil (Silybum marianum). The raw material is imported from the Czech Republic; pressing and packaging are carried out by Olvita Gołuch in Marcinowice. Free from flavourings, colourings, added sugar, preservatives, lactose, dairy products and sweeteners. Vegan.
Milk thistle oil has a light straw colour and a delicate aroma and subtly nutty flavour typical of milk thistle seeds – easier to consume regularly than more distinctive oils (linseed, hemp). Packaged in a darkened thick-glass bottle – protection from light.

Usage
Oil for dishes served cold or after cooking: salads, raw vegetable salads, smoothies, soups, grains. Its delicate nutty flavour complements most dishes – it does not overpower them and is easy to incorporate into your daily menu. For hot dishes, add after preparation, on the plate. Not suitable for frying – unrefined oil degrades at high temperatures. Vegan.
Directions for use
Directly: 3 teaspoons (12 g = 13 ml = one serving) per day – from a spoon or as an addition to cold dishes. Salads/raw vegetable salads: one tablespoon of oil per serving. After cooking: drizzle over groats, rice or cooked vegetables just before serving. 500 ml bottle = approx. 38 servings.
Storage
Store in a dark, cool place. Once opened, store in the fridge. Packaging in a darkened, thick-walled glass bottle protects the oil from light.
