The creation of the Universe is riding on our faith in Deus. Either we choose the option of a deity creating the universe or believe the scientific option of the Big Bang. As Thomas Paine says, the creation of the universe is evidence of a deity at work. This is a DeistÕs tenant and the only evidence that they need. Whether it exists now through a Big Bang or the creation by Deus is a matter of preference. The Big Bang is giving the power of creation over to a self-creating creator. This idea is ridiculous. Faith believes that there is something outside the cosmos; otherwise the self-creating creator might as well be true. Outside the universe is a garden that has no time and space. If it is true that Deus operates outside the constraints of time and space, then it can be argued that this is evidence that Deus created the universe. Whatever the case, we still resolve to believe in the Deist proposition. That Deus was the creator, but chose not to get involved after this point.
