In 1964, just before the Beatles first landed in the U.S., the single "I Want to Hug You" reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts. The "Ed Sullivan Show," a TV program that became a symbol of the Beatles' domination of the U.S., recorded an astounding viewership rating of over 70% for their first TV appearance. The "Ed Sullivan Show" is a legendary TV show that has rewritten history and has been released numerous times, including officially, as the ultimate complete premium master collection based on newly discovered direct masters. The latest edited collector's edition from 2002 is now available on the SGT. label! The Beatles collectors are already familiar with the HMC label, which has been noted for its improved video quality, but this time, the new edition is based on even higher quality direct masters and features only the Beatles' direct live performances from 1964 and 1965. This time, however, only the performance scenes from 1964 to 1965, when the Beatles performed live directly, are included based on even higher-quality direct masters. Of course, all the performances are included, including the Miami rehearsal in 1964, which was not officially recorded, and the rehearsal of "Help! rehearsal used as the closing song in 1965, which had not been officially recorded. The original mono soundtracks were mixed in real stereo using the latest AI technology, not the pseudo-stereo soundtracks that have been used in the official recordings.
