Vinyl LP pressing. Witchy, twitchy and full of attitude, Fox Face is a fog-swirling, moonlit night where nothing is as it seems. Realized and reckless, this eerie musical force would be as much at ease holding a seance on a stormy, nighttime beach as throwing a rager in a dark, beer-soaked basement bar. On the tongue-in-cheek Spoil + Destroy, the band's first record for Dirtnap, the band alternates between Sabbath-y searing guitars, surf-rock and creeped-out, organ-laced sonic seances. Recorded by Kyle "Motor" Urban at MotorCo Studio in Madison, WI, using an all-analog 16-track recorder, the attitude hangs hard on the vocals of everyone throughout, echoing the spirit of Kathleen Hanna and Neighborhood Brats' Jenny Angelillo. Lindsay DeGroot (lead guitarist and vocalist) leads this storm of sound, with bandmates Lydia Washechek (guitar, vocals), Mary Joy (bass, vocals) and Christopher Capelle (drums). DeGroot's explicitly feminist lyrics are undeniably bolstered by no-bullshit politics and inspired by The Book Of The Dead and The Craft. Spaghetti Western styles intermingle with punk & roll and goth, making for a bubbling pot of riled-up, creeptastic tales, where the environs are trepidatious, dark and frustrating.

Quality is good considering low cost.
Color: Silver1
Good quality for an inexpensive salt/pepper grinder. Works fine and should last a reasonable time

Looks nice and seems to work well, but the black retaining ring randomly fell out.

The pepper grinder looks nice and initially functioned well as expected. However, as at least 9 other reviewers have noted experiencing, within 2 weeks of purchase and after very minimal usage, the black retaining ring around the grinder cone & adjustment knob just fell out when I was using the grinder, which was disappointing and indicative of poor design or construction for this part. After some research & experimentation, I was able to pop the ring back into place using needle-nose pliers (you just need something hard and narrow to push and flex the ring a bit, not necessarily pliers). I'm hoping that this is not a harbinger of other problems to come. Otherwise it's a nice grinder.

Not Overly Large and Easy to Use
Color: Silver1, Color: Silver1
I’ve been looking for a salt grinder for a long time. I was hoping to find something small—closer to the disposable grinders you see at the grocery store—but those don’t really seem to be available.
So I decided to try this one, and overall I’m glad I did. I’ve included photos to give a better sense of the size compared to your store size non-refillable salt grinders, since it’s a bit larger than what I originally had in mind.
The grinder works smoothly and doesn’t require much effort to use. You can easily adjust the grind size by turning the knob on the top of the grinder, which is a nice feature.
Refilling it was also straightforward. I had no trouble pouring in coarse Himalayan salt from a larger container without making a mess.

Salt or pepper grinder.
Color: Silver1
Excellent product. I accidentally broke one of mine and was pleased that I was able to purchase one grinder. They’re beautiful and very well made. Grind salt and pepper easily and many different coarseness. And they are pretty.

Inexpensive but certainly not 'cheap'
Color: Silver1
These work well and feel like very good quality far in excess of what you might expect for the price. I am very happy with my purchase.
