The reverse design by Canadian artist Joel Kimmel showcases the striking view of Peyto Lake from Bow Summitlooking over the lake’s signature wolf-head shape. The coin beautifully conveys the vivid turquoise blue color of the lakea result of glacial rock flour suspended in the water. In the foregroundevergreen trees frame the scenewhile towering Rocky Mountain peaks rise dramatically in the background.
