Pacemaker Performance Twin 2.5" Cat-Back Exhaust System for Holden Commodore VE Sportwagon (Gen IV 6.0L V8) - PP5381-10

Maximize airflow efficiency, accelerate downstream gas velocity, and unlock a deep, commanding Australian muscle car growl from your small-block engine with the Pacemaker Sport Systems complete twin 2.5-inch performance cat-back exhaust solution. Custom-engineered specifically to handle high gas volumes and optimize exhaust gas tracking on Holden Gen IV 6.0L V8 wagon powerplants, this premium setup is precisely shaped to map the specific floor pan lines, spacious rear cargo cavities, and multi-link independent suspension constraints unique to the VE Sportwagon architecture. By replacing your stock, restrictive factory plumbing downstream of the catalytic converters with a high-flow mandrel-bent performance construction, it rapidly clears spent exhaust gases to completely eliminate power-robbing backpressure under heavy acceleration. As Australia’s premium exhaust innovator, Pacemaker pairs this free-flowing intermediate path with patented V-Tex technology and signature double-skinned mufflers, delivering an uncompromised, thumping V8 roar outside under throttle while actively engineering out harsh interior cabin boom or wagon rear-hatch resonance to ensure a clean, drone-free highway cruising experience.

Note: Fits Holden Commodore VE Sportwagon models built from July 2006 to August 2013 equipped with the Gen IV 6.0L V8 engine configuration; does not fit Sedan, Utility (Ute), or long-wheelbase Statesman/Caprice platforms due to structural chassis routing, intermediate pipe lengths, and rear hanger location differences.

Features:

Precision-manufactured in Australia to deliver a premium flow upgrade, maximum structural longevity under intense heat, and a refined performance acoustic profile for the iconic Holden V8 station wagon platform.

  • True Performance Cat-Back Layout: Comprehensive high-efficiency performance line engineered to bolt up securely downstream of the factory or premium aftermarket catalytic converter sections.
  • Sportwagon Specific Clearance: Custom-tailored plumbing path configured to route cleanly beneath elongated family wagon floors, rear subframes, and vehicle-specific bumper exit paths.
  • Premium Materials: Constructed completely from durable, heavy-gauge Exhaust Grade 409 Stainless Steel to ensure superior structural longevity and resistance to thermal fatigue.
  • Mandrel Bent Tubing: Rigid twin 2.5" (63.5mm) pipe structure guarantees a smooth, uniform internal diameter through all bends to eliminate gas turbulence and prevent flow restriction.
  • V-Tex Technology: Advanced internal patented anti-drone configuration filters out harsh, low-frequency cabin resonance typical of open wagon cabins without restricting gas velocity footprints.
  • Signature Mufflers: Heavy-duty double-skinned 409 Stainless Steel rear mufflers offer premium outer case reinforcement, completely preventing internal acoustic packing blowout under heavy load constraints.
  • Direct Bolt-On Layout: Engineered as a comprehensive, vehicle-specific full bolt-up kit that mounts directly onto existing factory rubber hanger positions—no custom fabrication required.

Simply the best narrative I have read...
As society moves about, the slavery of the past remains alive and well. "Sweep it under the rug and do not bring it up" is the mindset of many. This type of suppression is often brought about because of the known guilt of an unfair past. American slavery has deep roots, reading the life of Fredrick Douglass, will help unveil some of the true history of America. At one point in the book Douglass realized he had past the time of being an indentured servant and knew that being a slave for life was his fate. He was treated with little if no respect. Douglass described Mr. Severe, one of his "masters", as a man who would whip a slave for almost no reason at all (22). Dougless illustrated that Mr. Severe had no respect for his slaves, but treated them as if they were not human. Many people may think that Douglass story was the exception, but that's not the case. Many times through out the book Douglass spoke of other slave's punishment as far worse than his own. He even recorded the murder of two slaves in Talbot, Maryland and stated that the slave owner never paid for the crime (31-33). This type of abuse almost seems unfathomable, but it's reality. Studying the origins of slavery can allow us to see the disgusting progression of the enslavement of human life and stripping of human character. Douglass' narrative provides the reader with a glimpse into the life of a slave. The emotional state of Douglass was strong, considering the abuse that he underwent during his life. The narrative of Fredrick Douglass is a superb read for anyone wanting to get a first hand understanding of the life of an American slave.

A very important book
This is one of those books that I’ve known for a while that I needed to read, but I expected it to be dark and depressing. It was hard to prepare myself for it. After it had been on my Kindle a while, I decided that I just needed to take the plunge. I’m glad I did. It deals with a very unpleasant aspect of American history, as told by a formerly enslaved man in the 1800s. It’s not a pleasant topic and the author relates it in very neutral terms. He doesn’t involve his own emotions in what he experienced as a child and young man. He doesn’t have to. The evil that was inflicted on him speaks for itself. The book is extremely well written and it goes fast. It’s educational, but it doesn’t read like a school book. I know that this author has written other books and I do intend to read them at some point. Not right now though. It’s an intense read and I need some time to digest it.

But really it is a great, easy and fun read
Most people who pick this up are probably looking for history and possibly race issues. Which since it deals with slavery are there slightly. But really it is a great, easy and fun read. Many people act like they think they know what slavery was like. They act like slaves got whipped daily. This historical account actually verifies some things I thought might be actually going on. Really, just like today, the slave masters wanted to keep the slaves ignorant. Fred talks about how they tried to get the slaves to party and get drunk during holidays and has a solid working theory about the masters motivations for this. However, many times you could tell that slavery was really a system doomed to fail. Without incentivising the workers/slaves the output was minimal. Also, each slave master was different with some being bullies and some trying to be nice to get more work done. I added this book to get the free shipping with another order and as I white guy I thought reading this would be uncomfortable. But Whatever race you are I recommend this as a quick easy and fun read. Fred was an awesome dude who taught himself to read, had a wife became free and wrote a book, and even got in a comical fight with one of his slave masters. I wish more people today were like that guy. I think if he were alive today this guy would be a member of the Libertarian party. He had the type of soul that yearned for freedom.

Tour De Force
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
The book ranks for me as one of the most significant, erudite, thorough and powerfully voiced books ever written on race in America. This a riveting, compelling and excruciating presentation, indictment, and prosecution of "White America" from its inception as a psychopathic and sociopathic construction, which persists into the present. "White" America exists juxtaposed to its violently parasitic extortion of Blackness. While the book makes the case for pathology and sociopathy, no such “racism” diagnosis currently exists in the DSM or WHO-ICD, but such a diagnosis is a logical extension of King’s argument. I bought this book, the workbook and I listened to the audio version - which is an especially rich experience for anyone who is remotely empathic! 350 references alone should intrigue anyone looking for a mother lode of information on the topic! We cannot jump straight to renewal in a United States of America without truth and reconciliation. For us to realize our best days ahead as a nation, the truth presented in The 400 Year Holocaust . . . is foundational reading.

A must read
Format: Kindle
Mr. King shakes up the thinking and challenges your mindset on American exceptionalism. The only thing exceptional about USA, is it's foundation is rooted in Whiteness. All the laws, policies, institutions, and wealth are designed to support and protect Whiteness. This book is a must read if you want to learn how the history of USA is shaped around Whiteness and white privilege. Mr. King does not hold back and he brings many receipts to support is position that Whiteness and white privilege psychopathic and sociopathic Black genocide. After reading this book, you will better understand why a certain political group wants to ban books. They are so afraid of confronting their truth and their history of anti-Blackness.
