The Art Pepper Quartet - Recorded in late 1956 and released in early 1957, the same year as the landmark Art Pepper Meets The Rhythm Section, The Art Pepper Quartet (Art Pepper: saxophone, Russ Freeman: piano, Ben Tucker: bass, Gary Frommer: drums) is back for it's 60th anniversary. Mastered from the original mono tapes by Grammy®-winning engineer Michael Graves, this CD and Digital edition was overseen by Art's widow, Laurie Pepper, and Grammy®-winning producer, Cheryl Pawelski. In addition to the album's 7 classics, this remaster includes 5 bonus tracks-alternate takes of "Pepper Pot" and "Blues At Twilight" (originally issued in 1990 in Japan) and a journey through the creation of "Val's Pal" (including previously unheard incomplete takes and false starts) via 3 more tracks. New liner notes from Laurie Pepper trace the story of how her (and many folks') favorite Art Pepper record was not only conceived, but ended up back where it belongs-with Art's estate, and in the eyes, ears, and hands of jazz lovers everywhere. The best chew ever for a strong chewer

We have a 77lb goldendoodle who loves these. We’re lucky because he doesn’t chew on anything other than his toys, but when he starts on this…he really goes at it. It’s healthy, (not synthetic), doesn’t break apart, (no pieces to worry about him swallowing), it just perfect for him. The noise may get on your nerves but it’s a small price to pay to keep him from chewing on your furniture, shoes, or anything else a mischievous dog can find.

Little pieces break off

My dog is obsessed with this. It does last a long time even given her strong chewing capabilities. I wish it was a little bigger. The main reason I rated it so low is when my dog is chewing on this it breaks off a little plastic peice and sometimes it hits the back of her throat making her cough so you have to supervise with this.

Great for aggressive chewers

My dog is an aggressive chewer so they are great for her. I would love to have one a bit thinner so it could fit in a holder so it is easier for her to hold while eating. This keeps her busy and is long lasting. I have purchased these multiple times.

Put your aggressive Chewer dog to the test!

A very tough toy to stand up to my aggressive chewer lab! It's a great value! The squeak is not annoying, and she's got to clamp down hard on it. It's a nice throw toy! It bounces once or twice but it still brings out the pup in our Dog! Not too small a nice size for a Lab or retriever

A Hardy Toy for Chewers

I must say I was very surprised with the durability of this toy. We've had it for 3 days and not one puncture hole. My rescue is a destroy chewer that doesn't care for Hardy chew toys unless it squeaks. While the squeaker isn't the best, he still loves it. We put peanut butter in the grooves for him and he goes to town. Will purchase again should he ever destroys it, worth the price!
