Prunus persica 'Tropic Snow' ~ Tropic Snow PeachTropic Snow Peach is a fruiting tree primarily grown for its heavy production of semi freestone fruits ready in early season. A profuse early spring bloom of showy fragrant pale pink flowers coat the bare branches attracting butterflies. The flushed fruits with exceptionally sweet white flesh ripens in May. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well drained soils. Tropic Snow can self pollinate and has a very low chill requirement of 100 200 hours.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  High Maintenance. Needs regular watering.  Peaches have a lot of pest and disease issues and need regular spraying to ensure good crop.  Potential pests include tree borer, fruit moth, root nematodes, and aphids.   Late spring frosts can severely damage flower buds.  Fallen fruit can be messy if not harvested.
