PUBLIC General Snowboard 2026

Designed as a true all-mountain freestyle board for riders of almost any level, the PUBLIC General Public is built to feel comfortable, predictable and fun whether you’re hitting park laps, cruising groomers, or exploring side hits all over the resort.

Versatile All-Mountain Freestyle for Everyone

The General Public uses PUBLIC’s signature Alert Camber profile to balance stability and forgiveness. Positive camber between the feet keeps the board feeling responsive, poppy and confident on edge, while rocker past the inserts adds forgiveness, float in deeper snow and an easy, broken-in feel for pressing and buttering. It’s the definition of a do-everything daily driver.

Alert Camber Confidence & Smooth Feel

A Poplar Light Core keeps the board lively without feeling heavy, while biax fiberglass delivers a smooth, predictable flex that’s easy to control for progressing riders but still fun for experienced park and freestyle riders. Urethane sidewalls help damp vibration and absorb impacts better than traditional ABS, and a sintered base keeps things quick with regular waxing so you can keep lapping all day.

Why You’ll Love It

  • “For the people” all-mountain freestyle feel: Built to be at home on groomers, sidehits, in the park and pretty much everywhere in between.
  • Alert Camber profile: Positive camber underfoot for stability and pop, with rocker outside the inserts for forgiveness, float and easy presses.
  • True twin shape: Centered feel and identical nose/tail for riding and landing both regular and switch.
  • Medium flex: Strong enough for jumps and faster riding while still playful for butters and rail work.
  • Poplar Light Core + biax glass: Lightweight, snappy and predictable underfoot.
  • Urethane sidewalls: Extra impact resistance and a smoother ride, especially on firm days or when you’re learning new tricks.
  • Sintered base: Durable and fast when maintained, ideal for riders who want glide for all-day resort laps.

Ideal Rider

If you want one snowboard that can handle park laps, rail lines, sidehits, groomers and the occasional pow day, without being overly demanding, the PUBLIC General Public is made for you. From confident beginners to advanced freestyle riders, it delivers a stable, predictable platform that lets you progress your riding and still have a playful, fun feel everywhere on the mountain.

Easy to use without any effort
Color: Orange
Needed a small space electric opener to help with opening cans due to arthritis. Manual ones were difficult to use. This fits in the palm of your hand and is easy to attach to can. It opens regular size cans easily, although it is a bit slow. The one can it didn't work well on was Fancy Feast Cat Food cans. Seems to leave a sliver of metal on the edge, very tiny but of concern. Contacted customer service and they were excellent - quick responses and very helpful at working with me to see if it was just the fancy feast can or the opener. Seems that those two just don't work well together. They even sent me a second opener so that we could try to recreate the problem. I am keeping the original opener and returning the second one as neither will open the Fancy Feast can. They supplied a return label also. There are lots of cans in the world and this is just a minor function situation with this opener. I think it is a great product.

A very handy kitchen tool.
Color: White
This can opener is an easy, hands free tool, to use. It does open canned items efficiently, but slower than hand-turn openers, which saves a painful wrist motion from which I suffer. Unlike a traditional opener, this one cuts under the can edge which requires caution when removing the lid as exposed cut edges are very sharp. Also, the opener does not stop when it has completed its circuit. The start button has to be pressed to stop action.

Update Year Later, Love it! Really impressed
Color: Orange
Update: I've owned it a year now, still on original batteries (surprised me), it still works great. I still get a little annoyed with how slow it it, but might be time for new batteries. Once in a blue moon the circle is not completely cut, but that's on me as I control when to stop it, to reverse. No issuese removing lid, very smooth. Love it. Original review: I'm pleasantly surprised. It does a great job! Very smooth, safe cut. Who knew? That said, it is much slower than a standard electric can opener, and you have no idea where it's cutting. Now I started on the first letter on the product's label, and pay attention to when the circle is complete. Press the "on" button a second time and it goes backwards for a few seconds. Done! Use the attached magnet to pull off the lid. I'm thinking of buying a second one. Also, I very much like that it uses standard batteries, nothing weird to look for. Well done!

Opener leaves wire threads on the rim of the can when opening. Poses a danger if ingested.
Color: Orange
Purchased this item hoping it would make opening cans easier (I have osteoarthritis in my hands). First time I tried it, after it rounded the lid of a can of DelMonte green beans, nothing. I reseated it, and held it down when it started. It opened the can after circling the top two times. When I took the lid off the can, there were tiny wire "threads" stuck on the can, and more stuck on the Kitchen Mama opener. I was able to very carefully wipe the wire threads off and pour the can of beans into my pan. HOWEVER, I will not use this product again. Who wants to run the risk of ingesting wire threads?!!! I would return the product for a refund, but my husband destroyed the box opening it, so this will go into the garbage. I wouldn't sell at a garage sale or donate it, because someone else might ingest the wire threads, and then Kitchen Mama would have a lawsuit on their hands I wouldn't have given ANY stars, but you have to give at least one to write a review.
