Go For Broke: Volume I, a pictorial history depicting five decades of concert performances by The Rolling Stones as seen through the eyes of one photographer.

The book presents a "no access" view of the band. The story begins in 1975 in Boston during the "Tour of the Americas" and continues to the current era with images from Paris during the "No Filter " tour in 2017. Go For Broke is an extraordinary journey of photographs. It is a story of a life spent traveling and documenting one of the most important bands of all time...The Rolling Stones.

The book features 276 full page photographs. The images were captured during attendance at 132 concerts in over 100 cities in thirteen countries. The photographs were taken during each Rolling Stones tour since 1975, spanning 22 touring eras.

The pictures will take you to fields, stadiums, theaters, and arenas. From audiences large and small, from small joints to huge extravaganzas photographer Curt Angeledes has captured the band in all its mythological glory; raw, appealing and joyous.

Presented in both black and white and color, the photographs offer a rare glimpse of the band in performance with a perspective not often seen. You might see a side view, an odd pose, Mick might be looking away or Keith may have his back to you. you will not be viewing the Stones in a controlled setting. There is no control when the show starts and Angeledes captures these fractured seconds. From front of stage to distant shots each photo gives a strong sense of documentation and candid views. The photographs are introduced with tales of travel and adventure. Each decade represented is a stunning portrayal of the band on stage.

Angeledes presents The Rolling Stones at their finest; playing live rock and roll. His images have also been published in Rolling With The Stones by Bill Wyman, The New Barbarians: Outlaws, Gunslingers and Guitars by Rob Chapman and Love You Live by Marilu Regan.

This book is a must read for every Stones fan with page after page of live concert photos. The author also gives his unique views on traveling the globe to photograph his subject and the people and situations he encountered along the path. It is a good time had by all and the photos are a testimonial to that fact; live rock and roll and The Rolling Stones.

Fun, Steamy, and Just Enough Depth
Format: Kindle
I liked this book — it was cute, short, and exactly what I expected from a quick Omegaverse read. While it doesn’t dive too deeply into character development, there was enough personality and backstory sprinkled in to keep the relationships believable and engaging, especially given the length. What I really appreciated was that the focus stayed on the main characters and their connection. The heat, the banter, and the romance were front and center without getting bogged down in unnecessary drama. It made for an easy, enjoyable read that flowed smoothly from start to finish. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a teaser blurb at the end, but it isn’t up on Amazon yet — hopefully it’ll be posted soon so I can add it to my wish list.

Good But
Format: Kindle
A little disjointed at times, at least to me. This was about Lila (omega woman) and Harrison, Wesley and River (alpha males). The main characters were likeable, as was Lila's friend, Wendy. Lila finally wised up and left the alpha she had been with for a couple of years because he was an a-hole, who treated and used her horribly. She knew some, if not all, of the guys from college if I remember correctly. The guys had been looking for an omega to bond with for some time. When Lila saw Harrison again, the other two guys were out on a date with another omega but Harrison refused to go because he didn't like her. He saw Lila again and knew she was the omega they had been searching for. However, it wasn't easy for them to convince Lila of that because of the way her ex-alpha treated her. The sex was hot. There was one inconsistency. I could almost swear that when Lila first saw Harrison again, she told her best friend, Wendy, that Harrison was the lead for his pack. Then later on when she's spending time with River, she thinks he is the pack's lead. Maybe I read something incorrectly. All in all, a good story.

Sweet read
Format: Kindle
A sweet steamy read of an omega who finds her worth and finds the guys that are willing to show her. The story had lovable characters with low angst and a HEA.
