Seventeenth-century sketches of Africa as it appeared to marauding European traders. Nineteenth-century slave auction notices. Twentieth-century sheet music for work songs and freedom chants. Photographs of war heroes, regal in uniform. Antebellum reward posters for capturing runaway slaves. An 1856 article titled" A Visit to the Slave Mother Who Killed Her Child."
In 1974, Middleton A. Harris and Toni Morrison led a team of gifted, passionate collectors in compiling these images and nearly 500 others into one sensational narrative of the black experience in America: The Black Book."""
"Now in a deluxe 35th anniversary hardcover edition, The Black Book remains a breathtaking testament to the legendary wisdom, strength, and perseverance of black men and women intent on freedom. Prominent collectors Morris Levitt, Roger Furman, and Ernest Smith, as well as Middleton Harris and Toni Morrison (then a Random House editor, now a two-time Pulitzer Prize winning Nobel laureate) spent months studying, laughing at, and crying over these materials from transcripts of fugitive slaves trials and proclamations by Frederick Douglass and other celebrated abolitionists to chilling images of cross burnings and lynchings, patents registered by black inventors throughout the early twentieth century to vibrant posters from Black Hollywood films from the 1930s and 1940s.
A labor of love and a vital link to the richness and diversity of African American history and culture, The Black Book honors the past, reminding us where our nation has been, and gives flight to our hopes for what is yet to come. Beautifully and faithfully presented, and featuring a new Foreword and original poem by Toni Morrison, The Black Book remains a timeless landmark work."

Amazing quality, amazing price.
Size: Twin, Color: White
I bought this for my 5 year old and was surprised to see how high quality it was. I figured it wilds be thin because it was on the cheaper side, and it was an all season light one, but I was wrong. It it actually very plush and I plan to upgrade and buy myself one now lol. Great buy and great price. Its light weight, no smell, looks great ink the duvet, and fits perfectly on a twin. The hangover is beautiful. I will most definitely buy this again!

GOOD
Size: Twin, Color: Black
The comforter feels soft and comfortable from the first night. I liked that it keeps you warm without feeling too heavy or overly hot. The color looked just like the pictures and so far it has kept its shape after washing. For the price, the quality felt really good and it gives the bed a clean look.

perfect for tall people or people who want to feel small
Size: California King, Color: White
The Utopia bed cover in California king size is a total game changer for sleep. I’m a tall guy at 6’8 and finding bedding that actually covers me all the way is a pain, but this cover has plenty of room to spare. It spreads wide across the bed and hangs down nicely on the sides so I don’t wake up with cold feet or shoulders sticking out. The size alone makes it worth it, but the comfort takes it to another level.
The bed cover is super warm without feeling heavy. On cold nights it keeps the chill out fast, and even when the heater’s off I stay cozy all night. The material feels soft and smooth, not scratchy like some other big blankets. It’s got a nice weight that makes it feel snug, but it’s not so thick that you overheat. For someone my height, it’s a relief to finally have something that covers everything without having to tug it around.
The bed cover comfort is amazing after a long day. The bed cover feels soft enough to relax into but still strong and well made, so it doesn’t bunch up or slide around easy. It holds the warmth steady so you stay comfy till morning. The bed cover size means there’s plenty of room to share too, and it still feels like you got your own space.
For the price, the bed cover is a perfect buy. It’s warm, big, and super comfortable, everything you need for a great night’s sleep. If you’re tall or just like extra space and a cozy feel, the bed cover is a great choice. Honestly I can’t find much to complane about, the bed cover just makes sleeping way easyer and way more relaxing.

Hotel quality, budget friendly
Size: King, Style: Light
I’ve only used this for several nights. Overall I’m pretty happy with it, especially for the price. It is soft to the touch and has a nice, smooth feel. It’s lightweight but still provides enough warmth for mild to cool nights. I don’t like feeling weighed down when I sleep, so the light fill is actually a big plus for me. If you’re someone who sleeps hot, this is a solid choice. The corner tabs are super helpful. I paired it with a duvet cover and haven’t had issues with shifting or bunching. It also fits my bed well, though I could see it being a bit short on the sides if you have a very thick mattress. This is a great budget-friendly option and seems like it will be easy to maintain.
