2017 release, the long-awaited comeback album by these veterans of the Dutch heavy metal scene, a band formed in 1985 (but active under the name Warrior from 1979 to 1984). Fully analog recording, engineering and mastering, resulting in great warm old school sound. Produced by the renowned producer and former Enigma Records owner Ron Goudie (Cirith Ungol, Stryper, Death Angel, Gwar, Coven, Wrath...). The Dutch heavy metal scene of the '80s has given birth to many jewels, and one of them was the debut LP Emerald. It was the only album from the band until now, when their long-awaited comeback finally sees the light of day. A 32-year gap between the albums is huge... Many bands fail to revive their spirit, but Emerald fans have nothing to fear: the record sounds as if it was a "lost" gem from the '80s! The songwriting hasn't changed (actually many of these songs were written soon after the debut was out), and Bert Kivits' vocals still have this incredible youthful energy and feel, though now they're smoother, not as extremely high-pitched and shrill as back in the day. The production is also totally old school - the fully analogue recording, engineering and mastering resulted in great warm sound, which will be for sure appreciated by the fans.

This was not for me

Hmm… I didn’t hate this pillow but I was not blown away either.
I’ve been using Sleep Number pillow, and since the price range was similar, I thought this might be a great alternative, especially when it’s hot. Even though I was able to adjust the filling, I couldn’t find the right shape/density. And I found that this pillow felt hotter when I was sleeping.
After trying it for a few weeks, I went back to my Sleep Number pillow. The quality was fine. But I guess everyone is different, just like some people prefer a softer mattress and others don't.

Best pillow ever.

How much did I like this pillow? My wife and I both loved it so much that we purchased another one. I think that says it all! The pillow arrives in a large box (king size pillow). It does NOT arrive all flattened and squished in a vacuum bag like some others do. I did place it on my back porch to air out for a while, just because that's what I do with any new bedding. I did not have any issue with scent or odors from either of my pillows. Its clearly well constructed with high quality materials. It comes with a smaller bag of extra stuffing if you want a slightly firmer pillow. We have not used any of the extra stuffing... we think the pillows are perfect as is! When I ordered the first pillow, I thought the price was a bit on the high side. After using it, I had no hesitation purchasing a second. This pillow is well worth the price. If anything, I feel this pillow is a great value at its price. Its not too hard, not too soft. Its the goldilocks pillow! I give this pillow my highest possible recommendation. Its simply a great pillow.

Excellent pillow, firm but more flexible than others of its type

I previously bought a similar pair of pillows from Sleep Innovations, but they are now either out of stock or unavailable. This new brand is a bit softer and more comfortable than the original pair. It's good for sleeping on my side or my back. The pillow cradles and supports the head and neck in a more contoured way than some harder pillows. The price is reasonable. The only difference from Sleep Innovations is that this pillow does not have a zip cover. So there is no way to wash the exterior. I suppose that one could buy a zip cover for it at extra cost.

Side sleepers rejoice!

I have spent hundreds of dollars on pillows. I am primarily a side sleeper and every few years I find myself waking up with a "crick" in my neck accompanied by pain and tension. I have had this pillow for only two nights and I am leaving a positive review. It is firmer than one would expect based on first appearance and the "press" test. The surface stays cool and I can sleep any which way and I am still comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Too Soft for Him, Just Right for Me

My husband purchased this for himself but found it to be too soft for his preference. I decided to try it, and it worked well for me. While I agree it’s not as firm as either of us typically like, it still provided adequate support, and the shape retention held up nicely. Overall, it wasn’t a match for him, but it worked just fine for my needs.
