The excellent Powerlon UltraPerm Premium Underlay – 50m x 1m is a breathable underlay which has been designed for all pitched roof designs as well as wall applications and weighs 135gsm and comes in a beautiful blue colour. This product is a great investment as it is water repellent and has good UV stability. It is also very durable as it is resistant to tearing which ensures constant protection of your roof. This product is also BBA certified for roofs as well as walls and is flame retardant to Class E.

The Powerlon UltraPerm Premium Underlay – 50m x 1m will give you peace of mind as it has been tested to the latest BS 5534:2014+A1: 2015 standards. This product is a great choice if you’re carrying out DIY work as its purchase comes with instructions on how to install it and explanations of its suitability.

Powerlon UltraPerm is a range of high performance breathable underlays for all pitched roof designs and wall applications (timber frame). It is tough, durable and tear resistant with exceptional water vapour permeability and hydrophobic (water repellent) characteristics.

Each roll is supplied fully comprehensive label with detailed installation instructions and a colour-coded map for geographical suitability per wind zone and membrane grade.

Powerlon UltraPerm is a non-woven composite membrane available with and without integrated self-adhesive strips. With preprinted marking lines for both roof pitch and overlaps for supported and unsupported roofs. This makes installation quicker and easier.

This thing is a FAIL on so many levels that I can't even begin to describe how bad it is. I bought the 12 x 15 press because I thought it would be fun to have a smaller press at the house that I could use to knock out things like mouse pads and coasters when I didn't feel like going to my studio and using my other machines. What a mistake. Uneven heat is just one of the issues. The biggest problem is that when you pull the arm down instead of the springs, adjusting to any height that might come from a coaster or a mouse pad, the whole heat plate just gets pushed back in the pylon, while at the same time, the platform holding the unattached rubber plate tilts down at the front, causing it to sit crooked and not work. It overheats the pieces in the back and under heats the pieces in the front because of the gap it creates.. It's awful . The timer didn't work . The temperature begins to go down as soon as you start applying the heat plate. It ruined everything it touched . Lesson learned - I've been in this business for a long time and I should've known better but I thought for the light duty minimal requirements that I wanted this would probably be OK but it's dismal . It's beyond dismal - buyer beware - don't say I didn't warn you.
