Thanks to a collaboration with Montreal based Afrokats Records, we present for the first time on vinyl 2 crossover soul undiscovered gems from Floyd Lawson and the Hearts of Stone. These two tracks were recorded in 1975 for the second LP from the Hearts of Stone and are possibly the best funk & soul tracks ever recorded in Quebec. On the a side K Gee, a storming funk cover from the Nite Liters; on the flip side crossover soul beauty It Only Takes a Minute Girl, popularised by Take That in the mid 90s. Floyd Lawson and the Heart of Stone were originally from Philadelfia but moved to Canada in the early 70s. The album Coming Out remained un-released and was mainly used as a promotional tool, helping to land gigs within local and international tour circuits. The few LPs pressed by Floyd Lawson at the time are now very indemand by soul collectors and changes hands for vast sums of money.

Great Product, But Non-Existent Seller Support

The Good:
Well Designed: Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
Effective: Perfectly obstructs the afternoon sun glare from my monitor screens.
Moderate Assembly: Straightforward and easy for the most part.
The Bad:
Defective Part: One crossbar end was missing threads, preventing the assembly of the sixth panel.
Zero Communication: I emailed the seller as instructed and waited 8 days with no acknowledgment.
Return Logistics: Amazon offered a return, but the box is heavy, and disassembly/repackaging would be a major task.
Final Verdict
I really like this product, but I’m deducting two stars for a total lack of customer service. I’ve decided to buy tools and fix it myself rather than deal with a heavy return. I hope the seller sees this and reaches out. The lesson learned is to check every part of a product before assembly.

Clean Look, Sturdy — can’t ask for more!

Really like how it folds so I can create kind of a doorway with two of these. Pretty easy to assemble and has an uncluttered clean look due to the smooth fabric and nice color. Oh and it’s sturdy enough for pets.

Great Dividers

Love these!! Many uses. Simple, nice looking, sturdy overall. Well made.
Bought to divide the unsightly storage area from the calm rest area in the basement.
Also, these worked well for our garage party where the dividers let light and air in, though blocked the view of our party area from the cars driving by.
