2016 live archive release from the legendary rock guitarist. This debut concert by Hendrix and his Band of Gypsys is released in it's entirety for first time ever. This set was captured live at the Fillmore East in New York and features Jimi joined by Billy Cox on bass and Buddy Miles on drums. These 11 songs were recorded New Year's Eve 1969, the night before the original Band of Gypsys live album was recorded - eight of the tracks are previously unreleased while the three previously released tracks have been newly mixed by Eddie Kramer. As the '60s came to a close, Jimi Hendrix pushed the boundaries of funk, rock and R&B with a brand new group, Band of Gypsys. Together with Cox and Miles, Hendrix unveiled stunning, newly written material across four shows at the legendary Fillmore East in New York City.

Lightweight and Breathable
The standout feature of this kaftan is the cotton and linen blend fabric. This material choice gives the shirt a very light and breathable feel that is perfect for staying cool in warmer weather. It has a natural and slightly textured finish that feels soft against the skin.
In terms of build, it features a button down Henley neck and side splits which provide a loose and non restrictive fit. It feels flowy and provides plenty of room for movement without feeling overly bulky. One downside is the lack of a size tag on the garment itself. While the fit feels right, it is a bit annoying not to have that permanent reference for laundry or future orders.
For the price, this gown offers a great balance of comfort and style. The construction is solid for a lightweight garment. It is a reliable and easy going pick for anyone looking for a modern take on traditional attire. Just keep in mind that you might need to double check your order history if you forget which size you bought.

This was a really nice top, if you have a muscular build then definitely buy a size up, the chest and arms run small so it will be a bit tight in those areas.
Also difficult to put on if you have a muscular build but definitely a nice comfortable top that looks good in its simplicity

Great simple thobe for the holidays

I would say this is a very stylish thobe that I used for Eid. Its not that polyester feel so during hot weather it is very comfortable to wear especially if you roll up the sleeve. It also doesnt feel light either so it does have a noticeable weight to it so you might thing you will sweat in it, but I didnt and I wore a white t shirt under neath. The sizing is true to size. The color is a nice black and not faded even after multiple washes. The over quality and value for the money is a great so definitely a buy. I also like the little accents. Simple yet classy.
