  • UNIQUE FARMING GAME: Can you grow bamboo across your plantation as a mischievous panda eats wherever he can? In every game of Takenoko, the players take the role of gardeners of the Nippon emperor caring for his Giant Panda and growing a bamboo plantation. Your mission is to farm and irrigate parcels of land growing green, yellow, and pink bamboo.
  • STRATEGY BOARD GAME: You must cultivate plots of land using irrigation and intelligence so that bamboo, the only food that the Panda will eat, grows in abundance. But beware of the sacred animal's uncontrollable appetite for crunchy young sprouts.
  • CHALLENGING AND COMPETITIVE: Each turn, you’ll see what the weather brings your way and perform two actions: getting a new plot of land, digging irrigation channels, growing bamboo, feeding the panda, or drawing an objective card. At the end of the game, whichever player has earned the most points from his objectives wins!
  • NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This fun cooperative game for adults and teens is made for 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 8 and up. Average playtime is approximately 45 minutes.

AN Interesting Genre Blend

Well, this is a weird one (in a good way...I think). 47 heroes are selected, one for each of the demon kings. The heroes are sent out to destroy the demon kings and regain the world back for humanity. It's a bit bleak though...The 11th hero is in a rut, but a strange group with specialized weapons (firearms as opposed to swords) comes and obliterates a group of demons. Has the call been answered? While they may think that, the group has actually sought them for aid to fight against these AI robots that have taken over humanity. Can the two groups help each others worlds across dimensions? This manga offers an interesting genre blend of fantasy and futuristic technology. The art is great, as expected of the mangaka of One Punch Man, and some of the characters are certainly more intriguing than others. This is definitely a fun action-packed manga that fits the shounen genre.
