Caricature of a group of jockeys and on horseback: John Osborne, Tom Cannon, John Watts, Fred Webb, Fred Barrett, George Barrett, William "Jack" Robinson and Fred Rickaby. Together with Judge Clark and Sir John Astley, Bart.

This Vanity Fair caricature probably depicts the climax of an imaginary race at Newmarket. Sir John 'The Mate' Astley, Bart. (1828-1894) was a Steward of The Jockey Club who, having been educated at Eton and sent-down from Oxford, had an illustrious military career before devoting his time to horseracing. He was responsible for the development of the new stand at the end of the Rowley Mile at Newmarket. 'Judge' John Francis Clark (1816-1898) was an invigilator at race-meetings and also an architect responsible for various sporting stands. The jockeys listed represent a group of the leading jockeys of the day. Many of the subjects appear in other Vanity Fair illustrations.

An original edition of this late Victorian print, some fading and yellowing creating a wonderfully authentic tone

they squeak
Color: Multicolor
my dog loves these balls because they squeak unlike other brands.... and the 2.5 inch is a good size for a med to large dog... only issue is i go through a ball a day... because my Pit loves to squeak the life out of them.... good for about 2000 squeaks....

SHORT-game Ball Launcher … love it!
Yes, this is a smaller ball launcher … It is for her SHORT Game! Love it AND the squeaky baseball that came with it is A-HIT!! Our black golden doodle, Josie, carried that around for hours … batting it around, jumping on it, resting with it right-next-to-her. For your pup’s LONG game, purchase the longer launcher. GAME-on!

Works great with tennis balls
I have a pretty large yard, and this thrower is great for my little Jack Russel puppy. It even picks up ball without having to touch all the spit.
