Among their players have been a Footballer of the Year, one who played for Great Britain, several who played in World Cups, and at least one who captained his country.

About the Author

The Rev. David Wiseman has been a "Claret" all of his life. He followed his father and grandfather, and along with his son, the family have been at Turf Moor since the 1890's!

A minister in the United Reform Church, David has written previous books about his beloved Clarets - Up the Clarets! (1973), Vintage Claret (1976) and A Case of Vintage Claret (2006).
