This is the traditional hair growth powder of the nomadic Chadian women. This all natural, 100% genuine Che'be Powder is the secret to the women's hair which reaches to their knees. Is it true that traversing through ancient dune pathways are nomadic women showcasing some of the longest hair in the world? Is it possible that some of the longest, most illustrious manes in the world are found in the often desolate Sahel? Arriving in caravans in countries like Chad, the long haired women bring the secret to their flowing tresses to trade in the bazaars. Each woman exposes the powder of their own hand and personal formulation. Finely ground from seeds and resin, the powder they call Che'be' (shay-bay) is undeniably credited for guarding their hair against breakage. The result is hair longer than any other in Africa.

These nomadic women of Chad, a people of African and Arab roots, have mastered the rituals of hair care. It can take months to collect the ingredients for their Che'be' Powder. Once they have collected the seeds, spices and resin, they grind them into a fine powder. The powder is then mixed with a thick oil to form a cerate which the women will apply to each others' hair. The unguent is then braided into the hair and left in for long periods of time. The mixture gives great strength to the hair as it decreases breakage. Women throughout the world are now discovering the tradition of the Chadian women with astonishing results. Growth of several inches have been accomplished in women who have never been successful in growing out their hair. Discover the Che'be tradition for yourself.

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.

Andy Greenberg is a terrific writer!
Format: Kindle
I absolutely love all of Andy's books. I've read them all, and his style of writing puts me right there in the action. I'm a heavy reader, so it takes a lot for me to be so moved as to write a review. This book is freakin amazing. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It's part investigative journalism, true crime, crypto hacking, blockchain shenanigans, I LOVE IT! It's a nerds dream novel, but easily enjoyable from someone unfamiliar with bitcoin or the blockchain. Such a wild story, holy moly. I can't say enough good things about this book. I bought 4 copies (3 to give to my sons), and I just now purchased the Kindle Edition. Thanks Andy for all your incredibly rigorous investigations and work that you do.
