Instant reefing with Single Line Reef

Single Line Reef is made practical and reliable by Seldén. All you do is ease off the halyard to premarked reefing points and then haul in on the reefing line. The luff and the leech are reefed at the same time. A system of guided blocks inside the boom ensures that the lines do not tangle. The system has a 2:1 gear ratio for effortless reefing, without having to leave the cockpit.

The kit contains:

• ø10 mm white/blue 32/3 Polyester line for reef 1. 6+ 25 m
• ø10 mm white/red 32/3 Polyester line for reef 2. 6 + 38 m
• 2 composite Single Line sliders that run in tracks inside the boom. 
• 2 PBB60 Single blocks used as turning blocks and fitted to the outboard end 500-016. 
• 2 reef shackles
• 2 composite sheaves for your inboard boom end.
• 1 ø10 mm x 94 mm shaft
• 1 Outhaul slider. Runs between the two reef sliders in its own track inside the boom.
• 28 m ø2,5 mm messenger line to pull the outhaul through the boom
