Zoey is a young girl with a special gift...she can talk to the forest animals. But as she grows older, she finds that she can no longer hear her beloved Forest Friends anymore. It seems she's lost her childhood spirit.


Now Zoey is leaving for university and her parents are selling the only home she's ever known. She may never see her best friends again. Who would take care of Matilda, the deer with the broken leg?
