The second edition of this best-selling item, which sold out in an instant and was remastered by a well-known enthusiast to the highest quality ever, is now back in stock! On August 15, 1965, the first day of the Beatles' third U.S. tour was held at Shea Stadium, a 60,000-seat venue. Unfortunately, due to fatal flaws in the filming and especially the recording, it was edited for broadcast once in 1966, but has never been properly released as an official Beatles film. However, since then, it has not been properly made into an official Beatles film.
Thousands of bootlegs have already been produced, including a version broadcast on BBC-TV in 1966, a version broadcast on ABC-TV in 1967, a version released on videocassette in 1978, a version digitally telecine and audio remastered in 1991, and the 2016 A 4K remastered version was released as additional content for the Eight Days AWeek movie in 2016, and Bootleggers' own reconstruction of these and various other fragmentary sources has also been assembled.
The Shea Stadium performance had a "sound" problem, which the official side had a lot of trouble with in the anthology and the movie "Eight Days A Week", and in bootlegs, it is often replaced with the Hollywood Bowl performance of the same year. The 2023 remastered version is the first time that the film has been remastered. The 2023 remastered version utilizes the original sound as much as possible, and uses AI separation technology to fill in the missing elements for each song from other performances (again, mainly the Hollywood Bowl performance of the same year), while the video is based on the 1991 Ron Furmanek version and up-converted by AI. The video is based on the 1991 Ron Furmanek version and upconverted by AI, and combined to create an easy-to-view live video that focuses on the original performance as much as possible.
I Feel Fine" and "Ticket To Ride," which were officially replaced by additional audio recorded at CTS Studios, have been restored to their original performances, and "Act Naturally," which was out of balance, has been readjusted to make it easier to listen to. The AI remixes were applied to all the tracks to bring back the realism of the original recordings, which lacked a sense of realism overall. In addition, the audio of the Beatles' interviews in the documentary section before the main concert, which also lacked realism, has been replaced with another source that is much clearer and easier to listen to. Except for "Help!", which has been replaced with a performance from the Hollywood Bowl show because the original source was too faulty, the remixes have been done to make the performance as enjoyable as possible, focusing on the performance of the day. We hope you will enjoy the excitement of what was said to be the first ever concert event at a large outdoor stadium (although not strictly speaking the first ever), with the original sound source plus the AI remixes to enhance the realism of the event. The documentary video, with Japanese subtitles, is an item that will allow you to get a deeper understanding of this Shea Stadium performance.
