They had no idea what we were up to. During the week it was a totally different life but on the weekend the real 'he' came alive. SIGNIFICANCE
Growing up as a bullied, terrified scrawny teenager, that didn't fit in with any clique at school was hard enough, but what compounded it even more was the fact that I was gay. After years of drowning I started to think that the thing that made me different could be the thing that would change my life. So I started venturing out and found the VAC building in South Yarra, which was the hub for gay community groups, an outlet for gay newspapers had free supplies for safe sex. Fast forward a year and I'd found my herd. A group of wonderful accepting people that didn't give a damn about anything and saw the best in everyone. This limited edition is dedicated to them, that time, and that organisation. Without any of that, there would be no 'me'.
